Do you have one doll way more spoiled than the rest?

I think once face ups are done and the character is more defined you will spoil everyone more... I have 2 dolls currently, and both have a mass of outfits lol

 

Most definitely! Ryuichi is a rock star, and to anyone familiar with the series Gravitation, they know why!

He has a "leather pants" collection, more props than I know what to do with, wigs, full outfits and more that I either bought him or made for him. He also has a few cosplay outfits that I made for him. Ryuichi was my first doll, so he was the one that got all the experimental things I started making back in the day, and he still is the first to get almost anything I experiment with making.

But look at him. Wouldn't you spoil this boy too if he was yours?

Of course, I try to spoil my other dolls, but when you have almost 30 of them, it becomes a bit more difficult to do so.

Spoiled as in bought so many clothes? Er, that'd probably, at this point, be Ethan (resin dude in the profile photo). He's received so many garments because his skinny body is hard to buy for.

Spoiled as in given more attention than the rest? That'd be Leon [off-topic sculpt] of late. I've just come back to the hobby after a few months of inactivity, and my Instagram feed has just been flooded with pictures of Leon. He's my current muse. But, he's gorgeous - even if I do say so - and I can't help it!

 

well, I have 3 boys meant more to me than the other boys, thus I will handle them with extreme care. I don't make them pose difficultly while taking photo, don't buy them cloth which need to unhook the head, only they will stay in the box, and I will always choose to buy cloth of their sizes first with no budget limit, practically they come first in everything related to BJD. Of course, I love the rest, only they 3 have deeper connections with me.

 

Definitely Rei. I usually shop with him in mind, but for some reason, most of the things I buy for him gets snatched up and/or appropriated by my other dolls

 

It depends on how you define "spoiled". On one hand, Fira(my Trinity) has the most clothes of any of my dolls. However, since she's such a heavy doll and hard to maneuver she spends most of her time in one outfit, sitting in her rocking chair, left alone, until I decide I'm up for lifting her 27-pounds-of-resin onto the bed and changing her into a different outfit.

Modena has the most expensive eyes out of all my dolls, while Jushiro has the most expensive wig. But, I personally consider Taini and Elaina to be my two most spoiled dolls, as I give them the most attention. They both have growing wardrobes, as well. Taini has 2 wigs, Elaina has 3. And I take pictures of these two the most.

 

Now I have 6 dolls, sometimes I spoil one of them some sometimes I spoil all of them LOL.

 

I impulse bought a new girl earlier this year and she's instantly become my favourite All of my BJDs live in a cupboard, but not her, she gets to hang out on a table! She has a new body on the way, plus some new wigs and clothes

 

I do this too! I have two older dolls that barely get anything and my newest doll is freaking queen of the household. The finest clothes and any other crap I can get my hands on. She’s getting her own cat for crying out loud. There’s some serious dolly envy going on in the household.

I spoil all of my dolls pretty much equally unless a doll is new. I tend to dump a lot of funds into a new doll to get them all the things they’ll need so that I can have everything ready. Most of my dolls are around the same size so I’m able to have them all share new things which is nice!

 

100% my limwha Toyou Mari. Shes fully finished with a wig and gorgeous default faceup and because shes mature 1/6 scale she has so many clothes she can wear Blythe and momoko clothes so she has a whole box of clothes just for her. Meanwhile my soom girls all fight for the same outfits because they can share and they're clothes are way more expensive XD

 

Vince and Pete are my Most Spoiled Boys. Vince gets ALL the props and is also my most-cuddled doll, but I've spent the most on Pete's wardrobe and he's probably the subject of most of my best photos.

 

When I only had one doll, he was really spoiled by me. I spent a lot of money to buy five or six sets of clothes and accessories for him. Now I have other favorite dolls, but I don't have that much money to buy so many clothes for him. Sometimes they share a set of accessories.

 

I have a doll that my friend just absolutely adores, he is definitely the most spoiled among all my dolls.

What a fun thread! I love rading about all the different ways and reasons a doll can end up at the top of the food chain, so to speak.

I have two dolls that stands out as spoiled, but in different ways.

My first doll, Lilja (lati blue shaina) was the one that got me into this type of dolls. She was the first that made me go from just looking at them online to deciding I had to have one. All my other dolls have been bought to fit into her story in one way or another and since I've had her for so long she has accumulated a lot of clothes and accessories as well as photo backgrounds and furniture to set up parts of the apartment she lives in. Her backstory is more developed as well.
In many ways she is still my favourite.

On the other hand, Daisy (lati cara/ luts kid delf hybrid) is the one with the most stuff. She has a huge amount of clothes, shoes, jewelry, wigs, head accessories etc. This is partly because in their universe, she has much more money as her disposal than most of the others. She is firmly stuck in the OTT sweet lolita trend and that means that just about anything that is pastel and /or cute will fit into her wardrobe in one way or another. This makes her very easy to shop for and very easy and FUN to craft for!
She has as many outfits as the rest of my girls have if you put them all together.

 

Absolutely, the OC in my profile pic has two doll forms currently; his lion form (KDF Lio) and human form (MDF Lapis) and I've bought so many KDF fantasy clothes for him...I only have the MDF Nocte set for his human form but there's not a lot of fantasy outfits out there for MDF so I lie in wait...

 

I never thought I'd be someone to spoil one of my dolls, but my newest doll, Dela, is already well on her way to getting multiple outfits and wigs only about a month into owning her when most my other dolls had to wait quite a while before even getting one full outfit - one of them is still bald about a year in, oops. I think it just depends on what I have the motivation to work on, considering I make everything my dolls have.

 

My hatsune miku Dollfie is soooo spoiled I buy her all and every outfit that’s hers or would look so cute on her I feel bad for the others though because they don’t get much compared to her
