Do you hug your Dolls when you are upset/lonely?

I alternate between hugging my dolls and my stuffed animals, it's really comforting for me when I'm feeling down . Although some dolls are more huggable than others.

 

No I just watch a movie I like and try to get my mind off of the negative.

 

My dolls are too small for hugging. When I feel sad, I just talk to them.

 

I've answered this before, but I'm currently feeling down and writing an essay (which is already a week late ._.) and I've got Erynn next to me while I work, and Hope is on the table next to me. Hope's always been my 'essay helper' (which usually means I play with her rather than work!), and lately Erynn has been asking for attention. She's got a new set of pajamas I've half finished, and she's sitting next to me holding them, like she's saying "Once you've finished, you can watch bad reality tv re-runs and finish these for me, and that'll make you feel better"

Its especially good because my partner is at work and won't be home for another hour or two, and he's left his phone behind, so I can't text him to make me feel better. I agree with previous commenters, its nice to have something with eyes to look back at you when you're feeling bad

 

I agree with this, too. My dolls definitely make me feel good and give me a lot, especially when I feel down and lonely. I don't really hug them them but I play around with them to make me happy again.

 

I hugged them goodbye when I went to Kansas for work for a week. But that's as far as I've gone lol.

 

not really, I just hug her whenever I want to hug her or when I think she's looking sad

 

I usually cuddle my girl Raven when im sad or upset, but since she is not currently with me, (shes staying at a friends house who wants to get into the fandom) i usually cuddle one of my boys or just hold their hands. i know they aren't real, but all of my dolls provide me with comfort, and make me happy ^.^

I tend to hug Cesavier when I'm sad or lonely, or hold his hand or something. Sometimes I'll huge Seraphine too, but she's less cuddly. Her character only really likes to cuddle Ces.

 

Yup. I just like holding stuff when I'm upset. Idk why though.

ever since i've had my first bjd i'm upset no more, the dolls personality plays a huge distraction to me from my daily life which never go the way i want, sadly i've never hugged any doll, i take my dolls in hand when i need to move them around

 

i dont hug them but i like to cuddle them in my lap ant pat thier hair some times. i'd rather watch and pose them

 

I don't hug them but I sit with them in my lap and play with their hands and wigs.

 

I like to hold my boy doll. He weighs so much that it's kind of like a hug. Although he's not a good hugger because of his hard skin. Hehe! Just holding him cheers me up, though.

 

I like to hug my dolls when I feel down, but simply having them near me helps too. I am feeling a little lonely right now and I've got my boy sitting in my lap with me as I watch Supernatural!

 

Yes, I got an upsetting call this morning and I went straight to Hoshimi and curled up with her for a good cry. I watch movies with her and read books too. I want to get her a ds so we can play games together, lol.

 

I do, but not exactly hug her. I lay down on bed with Titania and cuddle with her, and I'll gently play with her wig or something, and it makes me feel much better.

 

I do, actually.
Not often, though. But they always make me feel better and hugging them is a lot more easier than hugging my dogs.
