Do you kiss/cuddle your dolls?

No, but I rub his tummy haha He's too cute not to pester in some way.

 

I cuddle with anything of mine cute...toys or not

 

I don't really see my dolls as anything but inanimate objects - so no kisses. I do get that lots of people are really invested emotionally with their dolls.

I do like dressing and posing them though. I think even if I did like my dolls to that degree I would be worried about the oil from my lips smudging them or making them gross. I barely want to touch them some days because I'm afraid I'll break them somehow.

 

I don't do because I'm afraid of making them get oil from my skin. But sometimes when I feel very sad and depressed, I will take them to sit beside me...That makes me feel at least I'm not alone...

 

I would say that no, I don't kiss or cuddle my dolls. It would feel really odd and awkward for me to kiss my dolls. Or maybe I sometimes give them a really small peck on the head (more like touch their hair with my lips, not really kiss them), but I don't actually even want to kiss them more. I do pet my dolls sometimes, and sometimes give them hugs, but that's enough for me.

 

I'm not a very kissy person but I can definitely see myself wanting to hold them, tote them around, and cuddle up with them when I'm lonely

 

Nope, no cuddling or kissing ....so far. A pat on the head is pretty much the extent of my demonstrated affection. I know that hand oils & salts transfer and will eventually cause damage. Until I gain the skills needed to do face-ups & repairs, I'm going to be a bit cautious. Besides, my wife deservedly gets priority!

 

I don't kiss or snuggle my doll. But when I carry him, he sits in the crook of my arm, so I suppose I "cuddle" him? Haha But sometimes I like to include him when I'm sewing so I'll sit him on my table with me, but he doesn't get to sit in the living room with me, as I'm living with 4 dogs and pet dander coats everything here.

 

It feels weird to kiss dolls even if I'm all alone with him. But I do pat his head/wig and of my hands are clean, I just poke his nose

 

For me the dolls are too fragile to cuddle them. And kissing? I don't know but I never have the feeling that I want to kiss them.
Sometimes I stroke very gently over their cheeks and tell them how beautiful they are ^^

 

I cuddle her, sit her on my lap, pat her head, kiss her head (wig), and lightly tap her on the nose. She's too cute and precious not to coddle!

 

My big girl likes to sit in my lap when im on the computer and yes i do kiss and cuddle my girls Ran is the reserved kind girl and himeka is more out going but they both love to cuddle if not withe me withe etchother :3 (im really sorry about my eng)

 

No never they are just dolls that I like to create clothes for I think the idea is silly, but of course there is room for all of us so if you like to do that it's ok too.

 

I cuddle my non-BJDs, but the BJDs seem so much more delicate that I would be afraid to.

 

I think I'm really in the minority here, but no, not at all. I don't feel any attachment like you would with a human or a pet. I see BJDs as more of fun things to customize, sew/make stuff for, and have fun photographing. That's what I enjoy about them

 

I don't as they don't seem that cuddly (though I never really tried) and I don't really like kissing things as I tend to wear balms on my lips. However perhaps when I'm over being over-cautious with my doll I would or when I get a bigger doll (they seem a bit more huggable).

 

I absolutely 100% do it, especially when I'm taking them to meets or just having them out with friends. I can't stop snuggling and kissing their heads. u 3u;

 

I cuddle my girl but do not kiss! I'm scared of damaging her face up :/

 

I feel the same..and my girl is so tiny I would feel like I was about to bite her head off if I kissed her on the face. On top of her wig yes...but she gets cuddles and more often than not is right next to me so always stroking her hair or arm

 

I love them a lot! But don't cuddle with them, nor kiss them
