  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. awww...that's kind of cute, and awesome at the same time^^;)

      i understand about the weight, even my dod is a bit awkward to just carry by the waist, plus it just doesn't feel dignified carrying her that way, its more natural in my arms.

      i have come to realize my DD seems a lot more hug/sleep friendly, especially if they were to fall out

    2. My doll is pretty frigid in respects to hugs and kisses. He lets me kiss him on the cheek for good luck every now and then, is always stiff when it comes to hugs, but he doesn't mind getting carried around or having his arms and legs rubbed when he gets dirty. :/

    3. I love this thread! At least I am not the only one :lol:

      I do occasionally hug my dolls.....and give a kiss on the head every so often too. I suppose it is all for me because it is not like they can hug me back.

    4. I haven't had a lot of time to just spend time with my doll, but when I watch anime, she's there in my lap, or sitting on the table, or something. I've given her a kiss once. I feel a little silly kissing an inanimate object, but I love bonding with her and sometimes she makes me feel so much better (too much drama going down around me) that I just feel like "my goodness, thank god you're here." and *smooch*

    5. It's amazing how they can make you feel so much better when you're sad. ^^ Just holding my friend's doll cheers me up. I can't believe how theraputic it will be to cuddle my own dolls when they get home. :aheartbea

    9. I cuddle with them. But not all of them. There are only two or three with which I cuddle sometimes (one of them, my Soom Shale, gets cuddled with most...), just because I feel overwhelmed with their cuteness.

    11. Going back and rereading what I wrote.... I sound like a pansy. But in all seriousness, I think what I was trying to say as sometimes this hobby is an escape. I don't want to think about all that other crap, so I just focus on my doll. Though, I was stood up for a date once, so I ran outside, grabbed my doll out of my car, brought her back inside and she was my date. Much better than some silly old boy. :3

    12. knightjeran ~ I understand how you feel. My dolls are my escape from the stress of the world. It is so nice to play with a doll and forget about everything else for a while. It always makes me feel better. I still love my husband and my kids dearly! Dolls can be great therapy and help you get through rough times :)

I'm having some frustrating stuff going on in my life right now, too... it's a big reason I ended up purchasing an in-stock doll while waiting for my first one to arrive... I just needed one to get here sooner so I could have my escape/distraction. T_T;;

    14. I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread yet! I love to cuddle, hold, snuggle, & sometimes kiss my dolls. I treat all of them as if they were my kids. Some of them like it more than others but it makes me happy to show them my love. I hope that never changes. They even have their own couch to watch tv with us. :) Although usually my Ellie ends up on my chest to snuggle. :D

    15. No. I cuddle my plushies, but my dolls...they're not soft and snuggly, and kisses I reserve for my fiancé. My plushie and sometimes a single doll will sit and watch TV with me, if I'm alone, but it's rare.

      I guess I just reserve my more physical signs of affection for my fiancé, cat and plushies. :lol:

    16. I kiss Roxas on his wig. I cuddly him when we watch tv in my bed together. Sometimes I fall asleep with him on a pillow on my bed.

    17. I carried my boy like a baby to the car a couple weeks ago, when I took him for his first outdoor photoshoot. But I've never "cuddled" or kissed him other than that. It doesn't mean I don't love him. I've just received too many warnings about yellowing, staining, scratching, etc.
