Do you kiss your dolls?

To each their own but it's a no for me. I do pat their heads sometimes though and occasionally say silly things to them like "why are you fighting me?!" when I'm trying to put their shirt on lol

 

I'm squarely in the doll-hugger, head-petter and occasional kisser camp (on top of the head, not on the face). We kiss and hug a lot in my culture so that's my official excuse.

 

When I first got her, yes (on the top of the head). Now it's mainly pats on the head, booping her nose, shaking her hand, etc.

 

Occasionnal kisser on top of the head here! Mostly when I'm sullen. And only with a few of my older dolls (like Keshi, my Dollstown Soph B, or Tsuyu, my ANS Narcissus).

 

I don't kiss mine, but I do enjoy patting them on the head

 

I don't kiss them but sometimes I've hug them, usually to be honest is when they have nearly fallen and I hug them in reaction to that and to calm my nearly heart attack
I sometimes hold their hands, because I think they're nice, especially in bigger dolls. I don't usually touch their hair either unless I'm doing some hairstyle.

 

I don't kiss or hug them but I have them hold my finger or sit them on my palm or lap sometimes. Just imagine how terrifying it must be if someone who's 3-4 times bigger than you wants to squeeze you or put their giant lips on you We try to be on respectful terms haha

I definitely do, I am incredibly close with my dolls and giving them all a little goodnight kiss and goodbye kiss on the head when I'm leaving for my studies has become routine at this point! I love my dolls and I'm pretty sure I will always be kissing them and cuddling them!

Noooo, I'd be scared of getting lipstick or saliva on them ;_;; I like touching them and stroking their hair though. My girl's wig fibers are so soft.

 

Absolutely. When I get a new doll my official welcome to the house is a smooch on the forehead and a cuddle. I know that dolls are technically non animated pieces of plastic or resin but to me each one is a dolly being and I want them to know they will be loved here.

I have a particular OT doll that I bought specifically as an anxiety doll to cuddle when I need to hold something. I cuddle my cat too but also the doll.

 

Just some... Rei, Lemonek and Claudia are very huggable and kiss the top of their heads. Others are unpleasant dolls.

 

yes! i love to hold them and if im feeling really affectionate, i might kiss them on the top of their heads. i also really enjoy stroking their cheeks but im trying to do that less since its not really good to touch the face

 

the huge toddler like paola reina las reinas and my vintage furgas yes I sometimes do , my bjd dolls nah they are too grown up for granny's kisses as about my out of topic fashion dolls if I kiss one I 'll have to kiss them all and then I 'll be kissing dolls till next week cause those are embarassingly too many.
If though I had a lushion dahlia or trinity or a spiritdoll dolce or pure I might kiss them like my reinas

 

I mostly pat my dolls' heads, not because I don't want to kiss them, but because I'm afraid of getting lip balm/saliva on them. I do sometimes blow a small air kiss almost directly over the top of their head in substitution though what some other owners commented in this thread like blowing them air kisses or kissing your fingers then pressing that to their heads seem like they might be good options for me to try next time :3

Also, I hug my dolls especially the bigger ones alot. I also like to sit/lie with my delf boy held to my chest while watching videos haha
