1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I'm not addicted to the scent, but I do find the memories it invokes pleasant. Opening a box with a new doll and smelling that resin smell makes me think of something new, something fresh. So I would have to say I like it.

True, it may be toxic. Maybe even cancer-causing. But seems like just about everything causes cancer nowadays, so I don't worry about that.

    2. Not a fan at all. I have to make the really smelly ones go away and air out for a few days before I can touch them if it's too bad. My first WS Kara Klum was so smelly he had to sit bald and naked on a shelf for a week :( Every time I got near him he gave me a headache and my eyes and throat hurt! I'd rather have non-resin smelling dolls tbh.

    3. I don't like it and I get migraines from the strong smell liquid resin has, which is a problem when I'm doing test casts and my respirator isn't doing its job (one whiff is enough). But at the same time I do like the memories it brings when I'm opening a new box.

But yeah, this stuff, especially in its liquid form isn't completely harmless.

    4. I like the resin smell. If it's too over-whelming, then it does start to get on my nerves (as it would for anyone I believe). It's like the 'new car' smell, you really love it because it shows it's new.

    5. Looove the smell of a new doll! That time when the box is opened for the first time, new from the company

    6. Well resin smell == new doll, so that's definitely awesome. On the other hand, it smells like a chemists lab so I wouldn't want a resin-perfume ^^"

    7. I love the smell, but a rash...

    8. I never even knew the resin emitted a smell; I always thought it was the faceup.
      But I do like it!

    9. The smell of resin doesn't bother me that much but I think it kind of smell good ? lol

    10. I do not enjoy inhaling chemicals. As a matter of fact, I do not enjoy inhaling anything other than clean, fresh air. So no, I don't like the smell of resin.

    11. I love it, from dolls and my warhammer stuff.

But then, I also love the smell of petrol/oil, so maybe Im a little strange
