Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I don't mind the smell of resin. All my dolls reside in a closed cabinet so when I open it, it can smell quite strongly for a moment, but it doesn't last long. I think I've become indifferent to the smell over time lol

    3. I like the smell of resin! And given how most of my dolls have been made 5+ years ago, it's also not very strong whenever I open boxes (there is a bigger whiff coming from the one new body, though) so it doesn't linger around for long.

      What I don't like is when the doll/box has been perfumed, though. I prefer neutral smells so heavy sweet scents make me gag a little + they are very hard to air out. I really wish the few companies that did this also disclosed it on their website *_*

    4. Generally, yes! There have been a few times that it's been too overpowering and I had to let a doll air out in the spare bedroom for a couple days...but usually it's a nice smell associated with box opening joy so I like it. :) I will say that since covid my sense of smell has all but died (and 4 years later not returned to how it was) and resin sadly doesn't smell quite the same to me anymore...if I smell it at all. And I kind of miss it. :(

    5. oh no. new fairyland doll's smell was horrible. huajing doll's smell is not this hard, but i don't like it too. myou and milim dolls never had this smell.
