Do you like the smell of resin?

Yes, I do. I know it isn't the safest thing breathe in, but I still like it.

 

I mean I only have one doll and she doesn't smell like resin..?? People say resin has a chemical odor to it but she just smells like air haha but I think if I did smell resin then I would probably like it

No I don't gives me a head ache I like the dolls though.

I like the smell but usually my dolls don't smell to strong of it when they arrive.

 

I like the smell of resin if I don't have to smell it long times. If I do, I become irritated by it. Not so much that I can say I hate it, but I don't really like it at the times like that.

 

I noticed the smell for the first time today. It's nice.

 

Yes i love the smell of resin it smells slightly sweet and for me when i open boxes its like new baby smell

 

I don't really like the smell. My first had me help her with one of her bjds and I nearly choked. I have a sensitive nose and week lungs so when I her to do my first box opening I will probably wear a mask to help cover the scent.

 

No I don't like the smell of resin. All of my dolls came with a company face-up as well so adding that to the mix meant they reeked at first but fortunately the smell calmed down very quickly. Strong smells tend to give me a migraine.

 

I don't mind it, but I don't like it like some others do. I like the sense of newness it adds to a new doll, so I may go "ahh new resin smell!!" in excitement of unboxing, but I am glad when it finally airs out!

 

I actually can't remember it very well, but I don't believe I enjoyed it nor did I hated it. It's just another element of having a new bjd, and that part is exciting in itself.

 

I don't really *like* the smell, but it has so many happy associations that I enjoy it now. If that makes any sense?

I love the scent if I don't get to smell it for too long. It mostly appears whenever I open a new doll and then fades very quickly. Sometimes, though, I just open their empty boxes, and sniffle, because they still smell like resin orz

 

I feel indifferent to it haha. I can't really smell well most of the time, so when I do get to smell it, it's more like a "hey my nose works again" moment than anything. I try to bathe my dolls as much as possible though to get any possible resin dust and residues off of them though, since it's not the safest thing to inhale.

 

I only have one doll so far, so im not sure if they all smell as nice, but i love the smell of resin. It smells like some kind of perfume. Or like some muffin lady's house.

 

I kinda like it..... But if it is too strong I get nauseous. It is nice because it is related to something new.

 

The smell of resin doesn't bother me because it reminds me of gas or something similar. I don't love the smell though. I don't start sniffing it from the box or take big inhales. One doll I own has a strong odor of resin and I hate it. I am wondering if other people have a doll that never gets rid of its odor and is severely strong. Mine is a dollshe doll from last year.

 

I keep all mine together in an airtight box and it gets strong. I don't really like it.
