Do you prefer closed mouth or opened mouth?

Partially Opened Mouth ^^ I find it more natural.

 

I like closed mouth a little more but any is okay with me really.

 

I love it when you can see a dolls teeth. But I think it depends on the rest of the face.

 

I prefer close mouth when the sculpt is smiling (or the mouth corner goes higher at least), but like the slightly open mouth when the doll is expression less or neutral!

 

I really like partially open mouths, it makes the doll feel more alive and expressionate, like they want to say something to me

 

Closed mouth with no teeth showing. I'm old school on this. Very strict.

I used to be very firm in my "open mouth dolls aren't for me" belief. Recently that seems to be a load of crap, because I bought an opened mouth doll and have plans to buy another.

i've never thought about this very closely, but i like slightly open mouths! parted lips and a little teeth. this really depends on the sculpt though

 

Depends on the sculpt, but I usually prefer closed-mouthed dolls, though I do like some with slightly open mouths as well, like Little Monica's Sophia. Dolls with wide open mouths and sculpted teeth are definitely not for me, however.

 

Usually I prefer closed mouth sculpts, but there are a few exceptions if the open mouth is showing vampire teeth

 

I liked closed mouth more in general, but a very slight glimpse of teeth is okay with me. I don't care for the "permanent expression" types such as big, open grin or shouting (unless they are coming with multiple face plates).

 

While I enjoy most (closed and partially opened), I LOVE toothy grins. I've never painted teeth before but I'm so excited to get my hands on something like that!! Especially the ones with sharp teeth

 

It depends, but overall I prefer closed mouth. I don't mind partially open but I don't feel like wide open mouths are very versatile, if that makes sense. However, I do prefer an open mouth for fangs! I hate the look of fangs sculpted over the lips.

 

I love both ! I can't really say why tho... I guess people don't have closed mouths all the time so why should my dolls have them !

 

I prefer a closed mouth. There are definitely some very cute open-mouthed sculpts, I just always feel like they’re about to have a bug fly in their mouth or something. Or maybe that they’re breathing through their mouth.

 

I prefer neutral or sad looking dolls and have yet to see one with an open mouth that I like... so definitely closed

 

I like the closed mouths on the more realistic dolls, and thought I’d never get any open mouthed doll. But then I saw DZ KeAi and thought the anime style, with the open mouth, was adorable.

 

Closed with few exceptions. I love my little momonita, for instance, but the model “pout” like many of the Dollshe women? Not my cup of tea.
