1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I try to at least lay them down flat because of the stringing.. I have excessively large pupils so my home is kept fairly dark; I only keep the curtains wide in the parlour. If I had to worry about sunlight on the resin, I'd cover the girls with a soft blanket during times where I'm not interacting with them.

    2. Heh, put them to bed? No way. I only change them roughly three times a month, I can't imagine stripping them all, putting on PJs, and putting on new clothes every day. Dressing myself takes long enough  Besides, where would they lay down? They're fine on their shelf :) Actually, there's no night time routine for them at all. Or any kind of routine. I don't have much time, as a biology major. It's usually "study study study *flop into bed* zzzzzzzzzzz"

Even if I had buckets of time and space, I wouldn't put them to bed. *shrug* Doesn't seem like a very interesting activity.

    3. of course! you cant sleep without pijamas! and i would just feel weird going to sleep all comfy knowing my doll was sitting up and being all uncomfortable. weird hm? i know they dont sleep, but it still makes me feel guilty, like taking them outside when it's cold without enough clothes on. i know they dont feel cold but looking at him when he's underdressed makes me feel like a bad doll mom.

    4. Yep, every single night. He's in his pjs and tucked in with his own pillows and cover. :) Even when I'm visiting at someone's house with him. I -still- tuck him in for the night. lolll

    5. XD Yep. It just doesn't feel right not to, for some reason.

    6. I don't really do that : D Takes too much effort to do that and I don't even have beds for all of them :'D. But I don't mind if others do that, in my case I just think it's a bit useless but hey, only my opinion! : D

    7. I don't do that.
My dolls have no beds, no pyjama's and I don't feel they need that. And even if they would, it would cost way too much time to put everyone in their pyjama's and I would need a lot of space (which I don't have) if I want to put them in a bed too.

    8. :) This idea never crossed my mind, but I wouldn't do it anyway.

    9. No. :XD: It's a charming idea, but no. It's not practical to change all of them for bed, and it's not my thing. I mean, I let them wear some casual clothes around the house and change them into more fancy stuff for photos or meets etc. but that's pretty much not to ruin the good clothes!

Haha, it's a cute idea though.

    10. Normally no. But if they travel with me and I'm staying over night.. then yes.

    11. My boy has taken over my china cabinet. Unfortunately he cannot stand in it, but he can lay down and sit up in it. So the top shelf in like his little bedroom. He keeps his toys and a fabric bed in there. I put him to sleep, yes, however he sleeps naked under his blanket. But there is a plus, Dev lives in the dining room where they are no windows. No sunlight worries for me.

So yes, I put him to bed any time I take him out and then put him away. But sometimes when I'm busy he'll laze around in bed for a few days.

    12. Lu actually came with a nightgown, but.....nope. |: I'm way too busy to undress a doll, put her in her nightclothes, stick her in a bed, and reverse the whole process in the morning. Just not happening. Especially now that I have more than one doll. Once an outfit goes on, it stays on for a while before being swapped out to something new.

    13. Sometimes. I do feel weird for some reason if I leave them around in "discomfort", or leave one in some random lonely room for the night. I guess because I put a lot of energy/emotion into them, so I have this slight urge to take a little too much care of them. They all don't have many clothes or even official pajamas for the most part yet, but like me, they usually stay in pajama esque clothing. Lol and I did buy them a bed. From Iplehouse.

    14. Nope. (I hardly put myself to sleep properly XDD I'm always too tired.)

I did do it the first couple of weeks I had Cecil, though. Whenever my friends or my brother's friends sleep over, I put him away or at least cover him with a cloth.

    15. I do actually have an issue about leaving any of my kids alone in a dark room. I've done some work with them on occasion where I need to bring them downstairs - mostly sewing projects - but I feel terrible if they stay there over night, even if I know I'm just going to have to bring them back down the next day. Of course, if they have companionship, I don't feel so bad. ;)

And yes, I have had a tendency to want to "put them to bed" if I'm on vacation. But then, I only have one with me, so it's not like I'm dealing with 27 dolls. *_*

    16. Some times, I would either put my doll my bed to sleep with me or putting on the table besides my bed. My room wasn't really that big so I couldn't find a place for him to sleep properly. And, I don't change him into pajamas, expect for the first few month. I'm afraid to mess up his wigs every time. T_T

    17. i try but sometimes he won't listen to me and stays up all night

    18. I definitely do this. Every night Claire gets tucked back into her box between the cushions. The most amusing part is that my fiancé will remind me if I've forgotten, and he uses the term "put her to bed," which I think is really cute.

    19. I only do it once in a while. Usually not.

    20. I think I'd like doing that. lol I enjoy changing the clothes. . . Although that would mean actually purchasing pajams. The dress she is currently wearing acts like a night gown sort of. So it's good. I do pose her like she's sleeping, though. Right next to me on my pillows. A beautiful sight for when I wake up, too :D
