1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I tuck my doll into her bed every night hugging her teddy bear. :)

    2. He usually sits on top of my bed header thingy, so I just say good night to him and pat his head xD

    3. The whole idea is a little odd to me. The most that I seem to do with them is change their outfits and pose from time to time so I know that my cats won't knock them down. I'm terrified of coming home and seeing them broken. As for the tucking in part, there's no place for me to do it. If i had the room I'd probably make a room box, but they'd all probably end up in a sleeping pose for several days before I got around to doing anything with them.

    4. I imagine my doll would want to be comfortable the same way I'd want to be. Kinda like when people say that you wearing something warm in warmer weather 'makes them feel hot'. The doll just 'looks' uncomfortable sitting up.

I imagine it like when you nod off on the bus or train and your head kinda bobs to the side all funny when you don't have a place to rest it. Gahh! It just makes me feel bad. I'm a overly concerned person though. lol

    5. I don't usually put them in pajamas, but they do have their own bed up on a shelf. (This is mostly so my pets don't lay on them during the night!)

    6. I should get a dollfie bed...but now I want to make Cyrano a gown and nightcap. ^_^

    7. I don't have any pajamas for my doll yet, so I just leave her in her normal clothes. But I put her mattress, pillow, and blanket on my bed and sleep with her, though. :3

    8. No.. I don't put them to sleep.. they're just dolls..
But maybe if they had an actual bed i'd do it.. but well.. they don't..

    9. I put her in her box between her pillows every night. I don't want the bright morning sun to get her through my skylight (:

    10. I have a separate set of shelves for my dolls and each shelf is a "bed" for each doll. I dont always change them into PJs though. But I sometimes do. I like to see them in jammies during the day sometimes, so I dont feel like I'm the only one being lazy. I know that they are dolls and they dont care one way or the other... or have any thoughts or feelings at all for that matter, but it is just an entertaining thing to do, since I have to put them up at night anyway.

    11. I did when I was a little kid. Now, no. I see no point to it, and have no interest in it at all.

    12. I don't put them to sleep. Never saw the point in doing so(although, this thread just gave me an awesome idea to make them all pjs, so they can have a pillow fight/sleepover phototshoot).

    13. Yes. I built my dolls a bunkbed to sleep in and made each one their own patchwork quilt with their favorite colors.

    14. I wasn't sure what to put at first as an answer. I take my dolls out to work on them, fit their wigs, get some sample pictures, etc. I pull everything out and almost exclusively deal with them on my bed (pretty much the largest amount of flat clear space in my apartment...) Wigs and eyes and props and costume pieces everywhere. Then when I'm done with them for the day I carefully remove all clothes, wigs, props, etc then net the wigs, pack the accessories, wrap up the dolls in their original boxes with all their original bubble wrap, tuck them in their pillows with faceup protectors--I call this "putting them to bed," sort of as a joke. But I kind of feel they are in hibernation for when they are finished dolls and I get a nice display shelf for them :) For now they "sleep" in their boxes.

    15. No, not at all. :sweat To be perfectly honest I don't really know *where* I would do such a thing - my dolls usually stay tucked away on their own little bench/cabinet thing that I had made for them. They stay there when I'm not fussing or re-clothing or photographing etc. as a general rule... So when I go to sleep they remain alert, upright and probably somewhat unnerving for anybody who isn't used to having 7+ little resin faces staring into the night. I used to have a vast collection of china dolls when I was a child and they would sit on shelves high up around my room. So I think I'm immune to being creeped-out by dolls at night. :)

    16. When I get beds I might pose them as if they're sleeping for photos. Other than that, they're just dolls. They don't need tucking in.

    17. Even though I answered "sometimes", I actually meat "sort of". My girl spends a lot of time in her box, so I always position her "comfortably", put her arms around her teddy, and make sure she has a book nearby. Acting just plain silly is a fun part of BJD for me.

    18. Sometimes, I just pat him and say good nite but I don't really pose him or change his pajamas (coz he has none haha) and tuck him into bed. I might pose him if I ever get a bed or a pajamas set in the future though XD

    19. I did think of doing it... but never really got to it... It would have been easier with only 1 or 2 dolls, but now I'm at 8 and I really do not want to put them all in PJs and then try to lay them down somewhere every night xD

May do it for my small ones though... they need a bed and PJs first XD

    20. Yup, I do. I don't know why, but it's sorta become routine now, and I’m a sucker for routine - it keeps me sane!
Rae lives in his "bed" anyway, so I only have to tuck him in if I’ve been playing with him that day. He also, sadly, doesn't have PJs (yet!), which makes things easier for me - singular doll with no costume change!
I admit it’s probably seen as childish but, well...we’re all different! ^^
