1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. The only time my beauty goes to sleep is when I try talking to her.

    2. Never really thought of it. I don't see my dolls as that kind of doll. I spend time changing their look but to me they are something to be admired not played with, although of course it is entirely dependant on your view.

    3. I can safely say I never got into the habit of doing that. Sometimes one of my dolls will sit on my nightstand next to the bed, but that's as close as I've ever gotten. Half of it is because it's a little over the line I don't really want to cross, the other half is because I'm in a cramped living quarter, and there's no room for two doll beds or boxes.

    4. No, cute idea if you had a couple dolls, but if I started with that I'd be changing dolls till the morning, lolz. In any event, the majority of my dolls are either elves, vampires, elven vampires, ghosts, or spirits, who I've had to convince to even wear clothes. Never mind pjs.
I do sleep with one of my dolls, Brooklyn, a LS Ted, who is an elf, he only wears the same knitted shorts and he has no wig, just a lil hat that fits around his ears.

    5. this one really made me lol.

    6. Well she isn't the only one I have bored to sleep.

I suppose my girl is sort of asleep since until she gets clothes I am not taking her out for display.
She just is NOT a nudist so is staying away.

    7. Saying yes, sometimes to this.
Reason: I only do it to my Puki's to use their sleeping plates!

    8. I put my doll in his bed and actually tell him goodnight every evening(though, I obviousley don't expect a reply). I've always been the type to project emotions onto inanimate objects, so I treat them how I would like to be treated if I were a doll(especially one so expensive). This especially when it comes to BJD's, maybe because they're so human. I treat my dolls as if they were "living" parts of my family, and I don't think this makes me weird, it's just me, who I am.

    9. Nope, but that's a cute idea! I might try that sometime.

    10. Don't have a BJD yet, but if I did, I'd only do it if there was also a sleepy head mold for my doll's head mold. And I'd have them both painted the same. In fact, that's really all I could see myself using a sleepy mold for.

    11. Every once in a blue moon. Really, I've probably only done it twice out of the four years I've had them. :P I just happened to be playing around with them at night and decided to finish it by getting them all cozy in their boxes. They didn't wake up in the morning though.

    12. My dolls have nice beds, so yes, I put them to sleep often. They don't have any pajamas though, so I sometimes will just take off their shoes and leave them to sleep in their clothes. In the morning... well, a lot of times they hang out in bed for days. >_>;;

    13. Yeah, I do. I just got my first though, so maybe its just a thing people do at first.

    14. I have bedding from my dolls when I was a kid, I just use the box the body came in and tuck him in at night. Granted I don't have pajamas yet or anything, but I usually put him to bed before I go to sleep or I feel bad for some reason...

    15. I do it sometimes with my Petite Ai. She's my first doll and one of the first outfits she got was a pair of pajamas that a friend helped me make for her. I love putting her in them and tucking her in at night after a rough day. Then, a few days later, I like "waking her up" and putting her in one of her dresses. LOL:lol:

    16. I put "sometimes, yes" to this. But really, my two boys are always "sleeping." xD When I'm not messing around with them or doing photoshoots, Lae and Fuyuki lay on my office futon in a kind of sleeping, lover's embrace position. Mostly so they don't fall over and damage themselves, or get knocked over by the cat. D: And they're always just wearing their kimono, hehe.

Now and then I'll tell them goodnight before I turn in, though I sometimes think they're too wrapped up in each other or dreaming to notice.. xD Sayuri, on the other hand.. is always sitting up and she just looks natural that way, so I don't move her. I guess kitsune don't sleep or something.. *mumble*

    17. Almost always yes, however i don't play with my dolls every single day, i just like knowing they are stored someplace safe and soft. their "pajamas" are just light colored clothing that won't stain (i don't leave my dolls in dark clothing for long periods of time), so it's more of a protection issue.
my dolls have box rooms with little "beds" in them. i find it's a great way to keep them protected from pets and such without having to unpack their box everytime you wish to see them.

though....admittedly, once they're done for the day they usually go back into their rooms :\ it's never been a "my bedtime is your bedtime thing" if they're still out when i'm ready to sleep they sit where they are and in the morning i put them back up.

as for WHY they all have pajamas and beds and everything? Honestly, because they're fun to make and when waiting for a new doll, you tend to make things.
i ran out of stuff to make with my first and made her a bed, now it's just kind of a tradition that they have a little bed with cute lil pillows waiting for them when they arrive.

    18. i do on occasion if i'm bored but they mostly just stay wherever i happen to set them in whatever state i decide to leave them in. right now i have one boy nude and the other one in tighty whiteys with no wig.

    19. When I'm not doing anything with my dolls, then they just stay in their boxes. I'm prone to hugging them before putting them back in the box though. xD
However, days can go by without me doing anything with them. (I think it's because they're in their boxes, hidden. If they sat in the open, I'd never be done playing with them! hah)

    20. Not really....Mostly they would stay in their sofa all the time....XDD
