1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Lol. I don't. I don't have a set of PJs or anything. But I'd be way to lazy to change my doll into PJs everyday. Lol. Most the time now she's just sitting on my shelf. Haha. Sometimes I'll put her in her box to "sleep".. But I don't change her. It's a cute idea. But I'm to lazy. XD

    2. i wouldn't dress them in pajamas every single night, but the idea of doing a photoshoot/story around it and showing their "routine" or whatever seems pretty cute :)

    3. XD Even when I had my first doll, I never dressed him in pajamas. I suppose it was because I was never into pajamas on people, either?

    4. Personally, I think that was a little rude. :|
      It's fine that you feel that way--but many people on the forums are very attached to their dolls.
      Perhaps it's easier to think of it this way:
      Many people are very attached to their computers, especially in the case of people who have built their computers from scratch. People work hard to decorate their computer cases and desktops, some going to dramatic lengths.
      At the end of the day, many people also shut down their computers, hibernate them, put them in standby, etc. While this sort of thing does technically conserve energy, it tends to not be THAT much in the big scheme of things, and if your computer is properly cooled it's really not necessary to help the computer.
      And yet, many people shut down/hibernate/stand by their computers daily and refer to it as giving the computer some time to "rest" for a while.
      In a lot of ways, putting your BJD to bed can be thought of in the same manner.

      I think another thing to consider is how you THINK about your doll. While I think of all of my dolls as my 'kids', I tend to think of Allura more like a child and my incoming DOT Shall as more of a friend/companion. Though I can't confirm rather I will put Shall to bed or not at the moment, since she hasn't arrived yet, when I think about it it seems to make a lot more sense to put Allura to bed than her.

      It's also helpful to change your doll's clothes nightly for bed if you don't own many outfits... I don't always vinegar-wash the fabric I use to sew for Allura, so by changing her clothes at night into a pair of white, simply patterned pajamas, I can sleep assured that she's not going to be stained from her clothing if I don't get her out for a while again.

      But in the end, I guess... I think it's cute and it makes me happy and that's all that matters. :)

    5. lol I haven't got my doll yet but when I do, I'm going to buy her a pair of pajamas. XD My sis and I were talking about this the other day, it just seems like a cute idea.

    6. I never change my dolls clothes very often (the regularly sit in their clothes for a week or more before I decide to change it, not like there's much of a selection for them either), so I don't get them changed, but I do move them to their nighttime area, my wide bookshelf headboard, so they don't get knocked over by my cat's nighttime activities. In the morning, I move them back out to the other room to hang out with me.
      That's the most of it, they sleep in the same clothes they're in for the week.

    7. I don't have my boys yet but I'm pretty sure I won't buy them any kind of PJs. I do however want a bed for them and the only reason I wouldn't change them for bedtime is that it doesn't suit the characters they ought to represent. Their underwear should do.

    8. Nahhh, there are a LOT of people here who just see their dolls as dolls, you're not alone---they're just more...subtle? I suppose. xD Most folk here just seem to enjoy getting into the more character/human aspect though. ^^ But really, there's nothing wrong with viewing BJDs as collectibles---I realize if that's how you've always felt about them, coming here where lots of people imagine their dolls to be quite lifelike must have been mildly shocking! xD And RainbowsHaven dear, I understand where you're coming from, but you must take into consideration that the depth of attatchment to characters, especially to newcomers of the hobby or a community site like this, can catch one off-guard, especially if you've never felt this way. I don't think he meant to sound rude---he probably just feels outnumbered by the large group of people who don't share his collecting style, that's all. ^-^

      *ehem* ...I however, like most of DoA, am a "character-doll" collector myself, LOL!! xD

      On another note, none of my dolls have PJs, I much prefer to buy fanciful clothing for when they are "awake". And I'm squashed in a tiny college dorm room with my roommate, my BJDs, and her BJDs. No room for tiny beds or anything like that [even their boxes are packed away]. Our dolls line our desks or sit in the open top drawer of my dresser and peer out, unless of course we're holding them/photographing them/etc. Neither I nor my dolls have the luxury of space and comfort----or sleep, curseed homework---- right now, ha, ha.:sweat It's certainly an adorable idea, simply not for me though! [Would love to see cute bedtime photostories though! *^^*]

    9. Thank You :D :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::aheartbea

    10. No way! I'm far too busy getting my two young children ready for bed let alone changing my doll into a nightdress!

    11. Only Shriara, she sleeps in her combinations in her bed on my night stand.

    12. oh man if i put all my kids in pajamas every night thats all i would ever be doing XD
      only one of mine even owns pjs and he only wears them when im too lazy to put him in anything good...

      that said i do make sure theyre all on their shelves when i go to bed. Alex is the only one who has a "bed" to go into...and its just his box opened with the pillow still inside.

    13. I've been doing that since my doll arrived, and that was 5 months ago! I've only forgotten to change Valentino into his pyjamas twice. He also has his bed, which is just his box with a miniature pillow.
      .
      .
      .
      However, once I get more dolls, him and his future sister will be the only ones I will change into pyjamas.

    14. I will only admit this on here. While I do not go out of my way to dress my boy for the night in pjs of anything of the sort, I do give him a affectionate pat on the head as I pass by him and into bed. >.>

    15. I don't dress them in pajamas, but I do make sure that my boy is sitting on his shelf and that my girl is nestled safely in her box (she doesn't have a set place where she sits, so at night she gets put in her box). And I do give them a quick peck on the forehead, just a simple kiss good night. It's a bit eccentric of me maybe, but I like the routine. It makes me climb into my own bed happy. :)

    16. The girls don't get put to bed at night. If they had a bed, I might put them to bed regularly but not everynight. To be honest, that might me going a little too far for me.

    17. I swear to God my first thought was, "Do I euthanize my dolls....?" xD Blonde moment.

      Haha but anyway, I have 18 dolls... By the time I had them all put to bed, it'd be morning. And with over 25 pets to actually put to bed for real, I'd never have the time! And all those beds and sheet sets would be expensive...

    18. Me too! XD Wow I feel stupid

      I sometimes put my dollies to bed...if I remember, I usually don't put them in their nightclothes, but they have their nice large bed (that's nicer than mine might I add) so they use it to their advantage

    19. Oh lordy, if I were to put all my dolls in jammies & put them to bed, I'd never have time to sleep myself! Really, it's never been anything I've considered. Once they're dressed & arranged in displays, I leave them that way for a while. The closest I've come to putting them in pjs is to do a display of all lingerie.

    20. That is freaking hilarious!!!! xDDD Win!!

      Now I'm thinking about it...how would one go about "putting a doll to sleep"...? *imagines a doll with a sleeping face-plate. A friend goes to play with it, but you stop them quick and tell them unfortunately, playtime is not possible. The doll has obviously been euthanized.* xD*

      Oh God, it's one in the morning and my brain is out of control. =_____=;;;;
      I think instead of my dollies right now, I should consider putting myself to bed!! xD;;;

      For some of my dolls, it's odd really...there are a few whose nightclothes I simply cannot imagine!! My bloodied-up Hazeroth? ....I mean...What, really? -w-;;; I think it can be kind of hard sometimes to find "character-fitting" PJs, for one thing. xD
