Do You ReDress Often...or Leave Them Alone?

Unless i'm taking photos if im busy at that time my dolls tend to stay in the same outfits for a good few weeks >.< I dont know if that makes me mean. Probably does.

 

I only have one doll that I redress often. My others have been in the same outfits for almost two months and I can't really see me changing them anytime soon. Mostly from lack of motivation, though.

 

I dress mine to the occasion, but for the most part my boy stays in his comfy PJ's

 

If I had the clothes, I'll certainly would re-dress them often. But sadly I barely have one outfit for each one.

 

My boys are both characters I've created, so I haven't changed their eyes or wigs since I've gotten them, aside from Lucca wearing his stock wig every so often in order to be able to wear hats.
Their clothes I change every now and then, but being that I don't have much clothes for them to begin with, they don't change, say, every week. XD I unfortunately have the "Buy-another-doll-instead-of-getting-clothes-for-the-ones-I-have" curse. :P

 

I change my dolls clothes when I make them something or we're going out. Otherwise they usually spend their time semi-naked.

Except for one of my dolls hats. The only way his wig stays on and flat is with a hat, so he has a lot of them.

 

It depends on your thoughts.Some people will redress them quite frequently and some of them not, i will redress my doll (wigs and eyes not that often) depend on someone's birthday or some special day such as christmas or new year, and sometime just redress them to change their image

 

depends on the mood and doll.

the doll i redress most is my favorite doll. if i'm feeling good, i dress all my dolls every 1-7 days on average. if i'm feeling bad or depressed, i often redress them only every 2-4 weeks.

it also depends on the doll, some of my dolls dont have many appropriate clothes or just a few outfits, others have manymore outfits to cycle or i enjoy to dress them up more.

 

I don't usually change their eyes or wigs unless they are cosplaying someone else. But I do like to change their clothes a lot, or at least as much as I currently have the clothing to do. Especially as I have vinyls who can easily stain, so I won't leave dark unlined clothes on them for long.

 

Never eyes, unless I don't like the defaults. Wigs can vary among which dolls it is. Clothes...if I change one, I change a lot.

 

Most of my dolls have one look or outfit. They don't get redressed once I have found that outfit that fits them or if it is in their character to be redressed often. I just don't like doing it when there's something that really works. Plus I think a familiar outfit, eyes and hairstyle really bring home the character of a doll... or at least in my mind.

 

Usually I don't change outfits often. I may change right away if I get a new outfit, or may wait for a proper occasion to use it (photoshoot for example).
Some of my dolls only have one "perfect" outfit, that I like as it is and don't really want to change.

 

If I get new clothes, I dress my girl up with them. Also, after a while the same look starts to get boring, so change is essential for me.

 

so far ive only redressed my fei more than my other dolls since she was my first doll i am more bonded to her =) i make her outfits here and there and redress her everyday xD

 

The only time they get redressed nowadays is when I feel like taking photos of them. Right now I am in the midst of making myself do a photo project with them so I will redress them when I am ready. I used to redress them at least 1~2 times per week as I was a lot more into it in the past. Funny how most of them were really cheap clothing too but I seemed to have enjoyed it a lot more. I guess it's different when you start to have expectations every time you have a photo shoot. ^^' "It needs to be perfect! Perfect I say!" oTL

 

I typically find an outfit that suits a specific doll wonderfully and I tend not to change her for quite a while. I prefer to have less outfits but the ones I do have I love!

 

I like to redress my dolls often, but sometimes I leave them alone for extended periods of time.

 

Wigs and Eyes - I never change them since they have a very specific visual concept. Changing the wigs or eyes would be like changing the character for me (unless it is of the same color)

Clothes - I love to change them! this is what I like the most in BJDs, that I get to dress them and make them look as I like BUT it is so tiring!!!! when I change ALL my dolls in one day I feel too tired by the end of the day~~~ The clothes are not a problem because they have a lot! but my shcedule is too busy so, time is the problem here...I tried to change them at least once a month.

 

Eyes are permanent on Candie. I got her a second wig for a longer hair look, but it's only for specific looks. Otherwise, she's got her default wig that looks more like her. As for clothes, I dress her when I'm doing a shoot, and undress her when I'm done. So, clothes can change pretty often, depending how often I take photos.

 

I have at the moment only two dolls, so I redress them often. Well, like once in a week. Or when I sew something from them, because they need to try their new clothes on!
