Do You ReDress Often...or Leave Them Alone?

Not so much, need to buy more clothes

 

I would change them every day if I had time to sew new clothes or the money to buy them. My dolls are set characters, but I would love them to have whole wardrobes to switch between.

 

I pretty much leave them alone once I find the right outfit for that doll, but until then I dress and redress often trying to find the right one.

 

Well considering that each of my girls really only has one outfit, my answer is no I don't redress often. But I don't forsee me changing their clothes much even after I get them some more outfits. But we'll see.

 

How long do YOU usually keep your dolls in a specific character or outfit?
Their characters usually remain the same but outfits change depending on my mood or where I'm at in their story.

Do you dress in a character or favorite outfit and leave them alone...next to forever?
Sometimes, yeah. xD

Do you change outfits OFTEN, but at the same time retaining the character? (keeping within the 'persona' you have chosen for your doll when selecting new outfits)
Depends on the doll and how many outfits they have I guess. They almost always retain their character.

Or does it even matter ~ and you just change characters/clothing randomly to suit your mood?
I sometimes change clothing to suit my mood, yeah.

 

I don't redress often since I buy one "main" outfit for each doll, and they're lucky if they get another. I would rather own a bunch of dolls with one outfit than a few dolls with a bunch of clothes ^_^ Just my personal preference.

 

i tend to redress them whenever it suits my mood...but the delema i have is that i need more clothes for them all because i can't always change them when i want to...

 

I also tend to change my doll clothes when it suits my mood. I have some outfits that look very cute but don't fit perfectly/interrupt posing, so when I put those on I tend to leave them on for less time; similarly, outfits that stay on well I usually leave on for longer.

 

I change my doll's clothes randomly. If I look at him an just feel like he needs a chanage of clothes, I'll change them but, sometimes he sit in the same outfit for weeks.

 

I don't change eyes, but Oh my goodness I am a wig-oholic. I think a new hair-do/wig changes the whole look without even changing clothes. Every week a new do or wig.

 

I sort of forget about Marc... But I do change his clothes whenever I feel he needs a change, or dress him up for events/occasions.
It doesn't matter what he has, I am just happy he does have clothes. My second doll may be the constant clothes changing type. Which means...I need to get better at sewing because Nicky will want to be Fabulous EVERYDAY.

Not too much, really. Most my dolls have their own main outfits. I change Florians clothes around a bit, and Jezabel also has a yukata, and may have some more clothes in the future, but I don't change them much.
And I have no plans of changing Harpers clothing ever. He's a one outfit boy, which is fine for him.

 

I change them in and out of clothes depending on my mood. I also like sewing so whenever I end up sewing something someone gets to wear it for a while. I don't have a lot of outfits yet, though... so the whole thing is kinda slow. I also plan to eventually own an one-outfit doll. Maybe I'll eventually get him a few optional kimonos and traditional japanese wear to dress in but I do believe he'll most likely stay with his one outfit for the longest while and it doesn't really bother me.

once they have clothes, that seems to be what they wear. i might get around to making different things eventually but for the most part, i've made them to a certain look and like keeping them that way until they get re-character-ed.

 

I have tons of clothes for my dools and I mix and max all the time ^^, it makes it more fun I think and refreshing C: But wigs and eyes I keep the same

 

Some of my dolls have more clothes than others, but I am working on getting a small wardrobe for each of them, in their chosen style. It's a toss up with me... sometimes I will change them every couple days, other times, they're in the same outfit for months. But things like wigs and eyes stay... that's WHO they are... unless someone IC gets a new hair-do.

 

im limited by my collection because i dont have that many clothes, when i didnt have any clothes and just a naked doll (my first) i got my aunty to sow a night gown out of fluffy material and he sat there with that on for ages until i found a cheap enough website with dolls clothes, then he wore a simple tank top and jeans but now that i bought some outfits (cool ones i might add) ive dressed them in the outfits and made them look pretty and i think they suit it more now then before in casual clothes

 

I like clothes and shoes, there for I want I want my dolls to have lot's of clothes, and lots of shoes to keep up with me. I like changing their clothes every chance that I get. Just to see them in new things.
