1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Do you Sleep with your doll? Is it Weird?

Oct 27, 2016

    1. For a brief time I had slept with mine, to pet her hair as I fell asleep. It was very therapeutic. I stopped to keep her safe though. Thankfully around that time our cat came back and became my new sleeping buddy, filling the void of petting something soft as I doze

    2. I don't think it's weird, no. But I wouldn't do it myself. I'm too worried I'd knock them off the bed or somehow they'd get broken. My partner and I share a queen sized bed, and have concrete floors. Not to mention, said partner is a little creeped out by them so I'm sure if I brought one to sleep with he'd most likely have something to say about it.

    3. If I had a large enough bed, honestly I wouldn't mind sitting them on the bed against the wall. But I have a small bed, and two cats and a large dog + a small laptop so sadly no.

Though when I was about 14? I passed out in the back of a packed car on a long drive holding my Delf Chiwoo when I had him and my family took a picture. I think thats the only time I slept with my doll lmao.

    4. Not weird at all!!! I do it as well with various dolls I have! It’s a great comfort to me, they often have their own side of the bed or if I want to hold them closer they get wrapped up nicely in a padded wrapping blanket so no damage is done :whee:

    5. I take naps with my Lusion since she is huge but I don't sleep with her at night because I'm afraid that I can broker her

    6. I'm too afraid to sleep with my doll (or anything besides extra pillows/blankets) on my bed. I roll around and change positions a lot, so I worry that I'd damage her somehow or end up pushing her onto the floor!

    7. I'm a complete sleep menace. I kick, I turn, I spin around and I occasionally have night terrors. A doll next to me in bed would be a doll in danger, so it's sadly a hard no for me.
