1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Do you trust your doll to stand?

Jul 20, 2016

    1. I actually keep stuff away from my dolls in case they do fall down

    2. While mine could stand, I’m pretty paranoid about them falling off my shelves. I also just like to see them sitting, so I usually keep them that way.

    3. They're all great standers and I'm fine taking photos. I wouldn't leave them standing unattended while I do other things, mostly because I have a cat.
I've only had one fall and of course it had the most disastrous outcome, but it was entirely my mistake and not the doll's fault.

    4. Hahaha, No! Absolutely not! Even the tinies!

    5. It's too risky for me! I have only one doll finished and out on display at the moment, and that is an MSD. Though he stands well on his own due to having very chunky shoes, I'm too nervous about myself accidentally bumping into my desk or a hard gust from the window which I keep open often.

    6. I only really trust them to stand when they’re on a doll stand—otherwise, I much prefer having them sit.

    7. All my dolls were using doll stand except Soom Chalco.
50% trust for my 70-75cm dolls, although they actually can stand very well. And 0% for Doll Chateau girls.
100% trust for my soom chalco on his hooves which actually i am more worried about the display shelf giving in to his weight lol.

    8. Back then, my friends and I really trusted our dolls' stringing—way too much. We always had a spotter, mind you, and we got good at playing catch. But none of us used doll stands. I still don't to this day. But I make sure they are solid before taking pictures and am ready to catch them, too.

    9. The only dolls I trust to stand are the ones that have been wired, 3 MSD ResinSoul, 1 SD Supia & a 14 yr old SD Maskcat. All the other dolls are either relaxing on some piece of furniture or using a doll stand.

    10. Most of my Dollfies stand up at home because their hips can get loose from sitting (and it's a real hassle to fix them again).

I've got quite good at balancing them outside on the 2-3 days of the year when there's no wind here...

    11. My little ones, yes, I think they can stand on their own; however, if I get an MSD, then no, I will have to get a stand for them.
