1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Do your dolls have any non-BJD clothing?

    1. My 1/4 AkagiDoll Yusri got treated to a new Halloween themed outfit (leggings and shirt) that was made for a WellieWishers doll. The leggings fit in between shorts and capris on his long legs, but I think it adds to the cuteness. The shirt fit well and the velcro on the back wasn't super obvious.

I also found L.L. Bean boot keychains. They are both right feet, but I dipped the bottom of one in boiling water and bent it to be more of a neutral for the left foot. They are super cute and look good on Yusri.

Embarrassingly, my new 1/6 2D Doll girl is currently dressed in elf on the shelf Christmas pajamas. :sweat
Do not recommend, but she was a second-hand impulse buy, and I didn't have other clothes ready for her at home. They will do in a pinch, but I'm hoping to order something that suits her better soon.

    2. My 1/6 boy has some vintage ken clothing!
      I especially love this jacket

    3. Found a madame Alexander Alice in wonderland doll at the goodwill. The dress and apron was a bit to big for my girl but the shoes fit perfectly. Sewed up the sides and I think it looks so cute on her!!

    4. Oh yes many outfit I have belong to other dolls like little darling, barbie, blythe, disney animators, if the clothes fits I don't care which dolls it belong to.

    5. Because it's cold and I can't find his sweater Vish is currently wearing my big rainbow high girl's hoodie. And my doll Aspen has so far only liked one dress and it's technically a skirt from some random doll.

    6. My daughter used to be really into Nanana Surprise and Rainbow High dolls and she didn't want some of the clothes and I use them for some of my 1/6 dolls xD I've also bought Glitter Girl sandals from Amazon for my MSD

    7. Glitter Girls clothes are great for chunkier MSDs and MDDs! I own a few outfits as well. :)

    8. My Minifee has some outfits that were for Paola Reina. Some fit surprisingly well others needed slight adjustment. The Minifees return the favour as their socks fit PR.

    9. My Myou mature tinies have an ever-expanding wardrobe of Barbie (and Ken) clothes, the accessibility & lower price point of which makes them really fun to shop for. Some of my slim minis wear shoes designed for Ruby Red Fashion Friends dolls (Cottontail Doll Designs makes the cutest ballet flats!), but otherwise that size & larger are all in BJD-specific clothes. I really need to look into the Glitter Girls outfits for my 1/4 scale dolls.

    10. I have a 1/3 boy that can fit into some American Girl tees and my 1/4 MYOU girl came with some Our Generation clothes from her previous owner. I also have a lot of accessories from various other dolls and Build A Bear. I got some really cool 80s themed accessories from American Girl which suit my dolls aesthetic perfectly! <3

    11. I have a silly sweater for my 70 cm dolls that was originally intended for those huge Barbies they made a few years ago. It says FAB! on it and is fuzzy. I honestly keep it as a joke.

I also have some American Girl (or off-brand 18 inch) clothing that fits my 1/3 girls with a little tailoring. Mostly just shirts, the pants/skirts don't fit at all.

    12. Some of my larger 1/4 dolls fit into some American Girl doll clothing (with more of an oversized look), but other than that they all have BJD specific clothes.

    13. When I first got into the hobby (many years ago), where I lived was far enough away that it's hard to source BJD-specific clothes. However, it happens to be a place where I can find old, out of shape porcelain dolls for cheap. My first girl started her life wearing porcelain doll clothes. She still has a few dresses left from that era, too.

... what can I say, she actually looks good in them!
