1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Do your dolls have any non-BJD clothing?

Jul 7, 2013

    1. All my 20-39 cm dolls wear Pullip, Blythe, Azone Pure Neemo, or Momoko clothes and accessories.

    2. I just recently bought a tiny and I plan to buy some Mattel Barbie Kelly clothes for her!

    3. My tiny wears the pants from the mini my-generation girls but besides that, thats about it

    4. A couple of small items from the doll aisle in JoAnn's have fit (like a pair of slippers) so I got them~!

    5. One of my tiny size doll used pullip clothing, because of her special body mesuring it’s really hard to find the perfect set so finally I searched it and the pullip size works very well. There’s a lot of pullip lover so all of their clothes are really nice! I just love it! :)

    6. Any source is fair game! "Only Hearts" and Disney doll clothes fit my Roxy Doll. I haunted thrift stores for years and found vintage doll clothes can work, too. (Mego brand and "Rock Angels") Even if it's worn out, a piece of doll clothing can become a pattern if it fits! I can take it apart and trace the pieces without feeling wasteful.

    7. My boy has been wearing some AG doll sized leggings which work as sweatpants on him and I also have a hoodie in that size too which works! Oh and I have some Christmas jumper ornaments which fit him!

    8. I bought a shirt for a wine bottle weirdly enough it fit.

    9. Not really. Mine wear bjd specific items and I've made some things for them myself.
Though I wouldn't mind them wearing stuff that isn't meant for bjd if I found something that worked.

    10. Gosh, yeah. Only two have bjd specific clothing pieces. One has a piece of ribbon as a belt, the other two are wearing pants I got for like ten bucks from Target that are made for these babydolls. Not gonna lie though, one of the pairs of pants has been the best ten bucks I've ever spent, all my dolls have worn them at one point or another, from my 70cm dude to my 40cm DC gal

    11. My Amelia Thimble wears Ty Lil Ones clothes and they fit nicely.

    12. Absolutely! My Yul Kid Delf girl wears Ashton Drake Gene outfits as long as they dont have arm sleeves

    13. My JID girl can fit into some Barbie clothes (so can the minifees) that I have. She has some build a bear clothes that I have modified and also an older baby Ariel (little mermaid) tail skirt.

    14. I have Barbie Ken Doll's t-shirts for my Fairyland minifee girl and his pants go to my Fairyland Littlefee girl. They can be a bit tight for my Littlefee boy. Nota Bene: the pants are too long for them but I use boots and having long pants covering the feet (as if they were socks) doesn't jar.
There is a Twilight doll for sale - I don't remember his name but he is Ken size - that is sold with a shirt that fits my minifee girl. His pants are a bit tight for my Saintbloom but they fit and I put her in a long top to avoid the 'builder's bum' effect.

    15. I have some Barbie clothes, the most recent being the larger blue care bears shirt dress and random findings in thrift stores and antique shops that I modified to fit my girls.

    16. My little ones wear Blythe and 1/6 scale army clothes. The latter tend to be quite cheap and nice quality, and I can actually find casual sweaters and stuff.

Also some of my nicest MSD sweaters were wine cosies my sister found at the supermarket like 8 years ago. They're a bit baggy and ill-fitting but let's be real, sweaters are supposed to be like that.

    17. Although I don't have any non-BJD clothes for my doll now, I'm wondering to buy Bisque doll clothes for her :D
And I'm thinking buy Azone clothes for DC doll if I buy them in the future.

Beside the clothes, I also bought things made by Re-ment company for my doll.
Japan anime figure like Figma is my target things I want to buy for my dolls, too.:wiggle
For example, umbrella, wings and so on.

    18. I've got an ugly Christmas sweater meant for a wine bottle for my doll. I also have a little cloth winter hat that came on top of a bottle of laundry soap last December. Sure, I needed laundry soap but I totally got it for the hat.

    19. I'm particular to tinies, so a lot of them can actually wear certain barbie clothes and I'm starting to stock pile, lol! It's cheaper to find what fits or not this way than buying specifically bjd clothes, but alas, the quality isn't as good.

    20. My niece had a water baby doll she'd carry around everywhere when she was 2. Someone gave her some clothes for it (since you can change its outfits) and they'd given her a little carebear outfit that she already had for it so I took it to see if it would fit my yo-sd. No, it doesn't... but if I alter the feet of it it can fit an MSD.
I've also found little wine bottle aprons that will fit an MSD.
