1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. ~*~Do Your Dolls Share Clothes?~*~

Jan 21, 2011

    1. Not really. Mine are different sizes...
There's only one sweater that fits both my msd and sd.
its supposed to be a baggy msd sweater but it fits my sd boy pretty well..
(he's actually wearing it right now) :)

    2. I have two boys the same size (Iplehouse SIDs) so they can share clothes, but certain items fit with just one doll's personality. For example, one has distressed jeans and one has perfect-looking skinny jeans. One wears sexy clothing and the other wears more professional clothing. So there are certain items I feel 'belong' to each doll. But neutral things like black pants can be used by both of them.

    3. My dolls share clothes. I don't buy clothes for my dolls based on their "personalities," just based on my preferences for clothes. :3 So I don't mind seeing the same outfit on different dolls.

    4. I was thinking about this question as I was buying clothes for my doll. I only have one doll at the moment and I was sort of rationalizing it in my head that it wasn't such a terrible expenditure because my dolls could share whenever I got a new doll...

..however, then I went and decided on my next doll and it's a different size so >>; no sharing yet, but I would certainly not rule it out!

    5. Back when I had a Dollmore Kid, she would share with my Dollzone Megi, but currently my crew has no same-size pairs...

But my Unoa will be getting a Dollzone body, so he will probably share.

And my Benedict Cumberbatch head might get a Spiritdoll body which I'm told can share with a SSDF body... And I already sewed a Sherlock coat for a SSDF body so they might as well share. Suits are expensive and both Niccolo and Benedict Cumberbatch need them.

    6. Not really... However my 1st BJD, Drax is rather spoilt so ended up with All Of The Clothes!! Although most of them aren't in his style/taste he still moans when the newer dolliehs inherit them! In future Drax will be willingly sharing some of his clothes with his partner

    7. I´ve got 2 SD and 2 MSD Boys, so they have to share their clothes. But I´m in now to buy them all individual clothes for a large Doll-Projekt.

    8. I have a pretty SD girl and a cute SD boy who wears dresses. So yes, they do. In fact, quite rescently my girlfriend was making a dress dor the girl, but in the end Aharon ended up getting it, and he was reluctant to get out of it. Same goes for the cat print PJ's I made. Mostly, they have different styles, but I learned to combine clothing to suit them both. There are however some things that they do not share. Lucy has her own corset top that is too small for Aharon and he has leather pants, that are too big for her.

    9. Mine share. The El doesn't wear the more colorful stuff though. I save that for the Wu.

    10. I thought they would
but Ive gotten like three shipments of clothes and wigs that I havent opened because I'm saving them for my AOD and Dancing Fairy. :o

    11. None of my dolls are currently the same gender or size so they don't share. I am planning on getting another girl and boy next month but they won't be sharing as three out of the four I'll have total are specific character dolls and will be getting custom clothing.

    12. My Yugiri and Soony share clothes.. but that's because I used to have just boy SD's... so she really doesn't have any "clothes of her own' yet lol.. though I can't say she minds sharing. :)

    13. I have two girls that will willing share clothes, but my little trouble maker is always refusing to put on anything pretty or pink :doh

    14. Kindasorta. Kiyo and Lian can share clothes, their wardrobes overlap a lot and since they're jeans boys it's mostly a case of swapping shirts. Shirou can't share, he's teeny. Katen and Lian have their own thing going, as does Cecil, although I'm still trying to figure out Cecil's 'casual' wear. If he overlaps with anyone it'll be Jake, since they're on the same exact body so what fits one will fit the other. Jake is probably too casual for Cecil, though, although he's got a thing for very snappy suits.

    15. Do my girls share clothes? Yes and no. There's a certain number of clothes that are "general use", but each doll also has her own wardrobe that is exclusively hers, and at least one outfit that no other doll gets to wear. Nobody else gets to wear Megumi's kimono (for instance), and any other doll that touches Ashe's biker jacket risks getting her elastic cut.

    16. My Kid Delfs can share clothing but they're quite different personality-wise so they don't. (Roxy did try them out but he wasn't impressed at all.) Gabriel (my bory) and my incoming MNF will most likely share clothes since they have similar tastes... but chances are Gabriel will have his run of the new MSD clothes before my MNF arrives home.

Terra will be my spoiled boy since I just bought him two outfits and he doesn't have to share at all. :)

    17. My dolls have very distinct "personalities" but their fashion [generally] is similar, so there's a lot of pants-switching and stuff. I have items that I use more on one doll than another, but generally it's all shared.

    18. Yes, of course. Perhaps the point in that my dolls haven't well-established style in a majority, I like to dress them in modern clothes and sometimes in waistcoats or in something "antique". Since the 1st and 3rd dolls are MSD-boys and I don't know how to sew, they had had to share clothes in the beginning, although each of them has very own things (like Vaile's leather pants or Eugene's page costume) now, which belongs to him and only him.

    19. All of my guys have their own clothing styles, but they do share. I make them ;)
The shared items are pieces that are either universal (like black pants) or overlapping their styles. But they all have a couple of things that are really of their own.
Elysa, Izrail and Locke are the luckiest ones, they don't have to share.

    20. My yos do. I have little girl dresses up the wazoo and some of them share colors in their color schemes. They rest of my dolls are too different in size to share though.
