~*~Do Your Dolls Share Clothes?~*~

Jan 21, 2011

    1. I've only got one right now, so she's got no one to share clothes with. On the other hand, once I get Laurent (paid off in June), he won't be sharing with Sakiyo unless I get a mad urge to crossdress the poor boy, and he's a classy French Spy, so that won't be happening often. XD

Now, as far as the two little ones I'm planning (home by the end of the year!)? Yes. They'll likely share clothes. XD They're two little girls! They do that kind of thing.

    2. Well, my two minis share sweaters and pants. Once my floating head gets a body, she'll share dresses with my other girl.:) I actually really love doll clothes, so the more dolls I have means the more outfits I can show off at once.xD

    3. I have two different sized dolls so that's not a problem for me yet..But since I'm planning on getting another doll..I guess I would have to let them share clothes. But I won't let them share wigs and eyes..

    4. Currently, most of the time they do share clothes, probably because what I had now is just the basic, shirt, jackets pants for the boys and skirts for the girls but I do buy clothes that is specially alloted for a certain doll, which cannot be worn by other dolls because of character preferences and style...

If in the future I do get them a decent and complete wardrobe, then I have to separate their clothes already... *cross fingers*

    5. My two piggy girls share all of their clothes! Unfortunately, their styles are so different from each others, I am still buying two separate wardrobes for them. ^_^;
I love buying tiny clothes! It doesn't help my wallet that that size is so cheap, it's easy to go overboard.

    6. At the moment yes. My Mecha Angela and Super Gem share clothes at the moment because I haven't gotten my Super Gem and clothes yet because i've been trying to find the perfect outfit that suits him XD but i did sew him a shirt and he has he's own pants too and jewlrey

    7. Initially when I've just started getting my first doll, all the clothes were his ^^"
They came to share when my crew expanded ^^""" However I do ensure that each of them owns at least one set of unique outfit other than the one which was included in the fullset O: .
I don't write stories but I find this is more fair ^0^..Like who would always want to share?Of course one would want something of their own ^_^

    8. I have one doll of each gender in 1/3, 1/4 and 1/6 sizes, so no, they can't actually share clothes. :sweat My SD girl does have a habit of pinching clothes from my SD boy's wardrobe, though. Dude doesn't really care much. LOL

    9. Kiddo and Ed won't share costumes, but they have a shared pool of casual clothes. I have a feeling they're going to fight over the cute plaid shorts that arrived today ;)

    10. Well, I try to avoid this situation, but at the end I mix and they share. I suppose it's the problem when you don't have too many clothes and a defined story o defined characters for your dolls. I like a very concrete type of clothing, usually very expensive and at the end I love seeing it in all my different dolls, if they fit, of course. The day I'll have more clothing for my dolls, I suppose the situation might change, but I'm not quite sure, I know myself well enough and I'm pretty sure it will be that situation.

    11. i share my clothing with my friend doll but my doll can not wear her doll clothing because mine is 70cm tall and her 63 cm. I wish i got something similar to her size because it is hard to shop for 70cm tall clothing. I thinking about making him clothing instead of buying it.

    12. My girls do a bit of sharing. One hasn't found her exact style yet, so she has to borrow from the other. I only have one boy so, past maybe socks, he gets to be a hog with all of his clothes.

    13. My dolls don't share cloth because one is a boy and another is girl lol~
But they do share eyeballs since it's only thing that they use the same size. ^-^

    14. My minis share most of their clothing, though there are some things that are just theirs and no other doll can wear them (Fai's necklace, Michiru's kimono, etc.).

My 1/3 dolls don't really share, since they're vastly different sizes (55cm girl and 66cm boy), but there is one shirt that they tend to "fight" over, because it fits pretty well on either of them. I have this sneaking suspicion Bailey's gonna win that battle, though ;P

The 62cm boy I'm saving for might end up sharing clothes with my 66cm boy, though, a little bit, just because they're similar sizes and it makes things easier, lol.

    15. Currently they do! I've only got 2 dolls (3rd on the way!) and they're all Minifee. I didn't have characters for them when I ordered them so they don't have set styles, but that's something that's slowly emerging. I'm finding as I sew more clothes for them certain things will look amazing on one doll and seem uncomfortable on the other, so even though it isn't my intention they are getting their own wardrobes :)
Will be interesting to see what happens when I've got all 3 home!

    16. We've got several massive boxes of clothing and shoes, and yes- they all share, as long as the item in question fits each character's style! The clothes usually do belong to one particular doll, but they borrow and trade constantly.

    17. I wish my dolls could share clothes. I only have one doll right now. He's an AOD Chi, which is MSD sized. He has a whole box of clothes in all different styles. He's not that picky on what he wears. Now I have 2 new boys on the way. One is SD and one is a tiny so they obviously won't be able to share clothes. I have a pair of PJ pants I made for the SD to wear when he arrives while I make him a shirt, jeans, and a wig. I also will have to make some clothes for my tiny, plus do both their face-ups so I'll have my work cut out for me when they arrive. Would be so much easier if they could just share.

    18. my dolls share clothes cause i dont have so many ;_;... this hobby it's a little expensive

    19. No, they normally don't.
Only two of my boys have a very similar style so far and I do have a couple outfits for them that they technically could share (and occasionally do), but the majority keeps their clothes to themselves because they're simply too character-specific to be shared.

    20. I used to own dolls with same size. They have quite similar character, but somehow I ended up buying separate clothes for them.
