~*~Do Your Dolls Share Clothes?~*~

Jan 21, 2011

    1. At the moment my two SD boys kind of share clothes, since Lucian's relatively new and has yet to build up a wardrobe. It kind of bothers me because their styles are so completely different, but I haven't really had a chance to sew anything for him so he'll have to wait.

    2. My girls? They can, however, so long as the outfit fits their individual style or image. The majority of the time I piece together outfits, then tie it together with accessories to suit their style.

    3. No, most of my dolls are in diffent size, so it is difficult to share clothes, and the only two 1/4 dolls have quite diffent characters...

    4. Pretty much, yeah xD
      There's no possible way I could afford whole wardrobes for all seven of my boys!
      They do each have their own style which does influence me to shop for them separately or find styles that'd suit all of them...
      Urgh, though someday I'll be able to sew my own clothes and solve this annoyingly pricey issue. OTL

    5. Unfortunately, just about all of my dolls are different sizes from each other, so they really can't. When I had two SD girls, though, they happily shared :D

    6. None of mine are the same size as each-other. It's a pain to buy wardrobes in several close, but not quite close enough to share sizes. ;_;

    7. Haha, mine do. It kinda saves on buying clothes individually.

    8. Yes All of mine do!

    9. Mine not - all of them are too different in size or complection. I wish they could though.

    10. *looks at girl's clothes*
      *looks at boy's clothes*

      Never. ._.

    11. Well, I'm not terribly good at sewing but I try making things for my dolls none the less, I have a 60cm male on the way and he's not going to have any clothes for himself quite yet so Adam is just going to have to share, my story for this (since they live in the dorms of a University) there was a small flood in the boys dorms and Adam had a couple pairs of clean clothes out of harms way for things like this, unfortunately Hayden didn't :lol:

    12. I have two boys with different personalities and sizes, but share the shirts and jackets, I change the accessories to keep, Eric more urban and Hwang more cool. I'm learning to sew so they save on clothes, because I am expecting a girl hybrid, and she's super romantic, I need lightweight cotton clothing with ruffles .... And sew for them is an adventure.:)

    13. My dolls share the same wardrobe, there may be a few outfits that were bought specifically for a girl. I am a shopaholic so my girls can't be too selfish with their own personal wardrobes.

    14. Some of them share. Different sizes make things fit differently, and lots of pieces make it look different.

    15. I wanted them to share clothes, especially my 3 MSD boys but they turn out so different from each other that they all have certain outfits that can be worn only by one of them because it'll not fit the personality/style of the other, no sharing :( which is bad for my wallet >_> they share some hoodies, jeans and shorts though.

    16. Chase and Axel have similar styles and the exact same body scuplt, so they tend to share clothes, but that's partly because I haven't bought Axel any clothes yet -_-;

    17. At the moment, I only have two full dolls and a limited amount of clothing - so yes, they do share. Their characters aren't that far off from each other really- style-wise, I mean. Their wardrobes are basic enough that it doesn't matter, just so long as they're not naked.

    18. It wouldn't work, because when all my dollies are home, there will be 1) one MSD boy, 2) one SD girl and 3) one SD boy. My gent doesn't cross-dress and my girl is a nun, so ... no, not a chance that they're going to share wardrobes :).

    19. Yes my two girls share clothes, I used to have distinct styles for them but now I enjoy mixing and matching whatever I have, I come up with such different looks that keep me constantly surprised at how versatile they both are :)

    20. Mihr is currently borrowing some of Demetri's clothes until i can order him his own clothes, Demetri doesn't mind at all so long as he gets a new outfit too. XD
