1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

does soulkid fit in narae clothing?

Dec 16, 2007

    1. I ordered my Apple on the double jointed body. I just wrote it in the comments box when I made the order. She is strung a little tight, and so one of her arms is a bit difficult to make stay in place. I love the double jointed body, though. It is really posable. :)

I think most things made for Narae would fit the double jointed body. Everything I have for Narae/Unoa fits, granted I only have 3 or 4 things at the moment. Nothing is really tight fitting, though, so maybe that is why.

    2. Thankyou! I think I've decided on a double-jointed Linn, so its wonderful to know that her clothes and Narae's & Unoa's will swap easily. I can't wait to start my fashion line.;)

    3. Linn is on order and I don't have her yet, but I have Ahee on the double jointed body and I LOVE her!! She is so great to pose and she shares everything I have for my Narae.............wigs, shoes, clothes.

    4. Shoes Too?? That's really great to know!:)

    5. Just keep in mind that the Souldoll double-jointed waist is .7 cm smaller than Narae's when sewing clothes. And if you do anything like tight slacks you might want to send them out to be test-fitted on a Narae and Unoa. Everybody's hip slope, and the proportion of their hip side that is in the back is different, and there are probably some diffs in their thigh-to-thigh width too.

And BTW - if you are interested in patterns, there are a few nice ones for Unoa in "Doll Coordinate Recipe 4" including two different slacks/jeans a cute top and a cropped jacket (if I remember correctly). The magazine is all in Japanese but usually illustrates many construction steps.

    6. Thanks! I noticed how thin the new body's waist is, but I'm mostly going to be making dresses and skirts to start out with, so I'll make so to alter at the waist accordingly.

Oh and I'll totally check the mag out. I need basic patterns for MSD dresses. I know a lot of people make period clothing, and I just need the basics.
