1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Some (many?) of my dolls have scars, because, well, I like painting scars ^^'
Most of them have it in the face because I'm so slow in body blush that very little of my dolls have their blush (and their scars on the body). I do have some scars myself but not in the same place than my dolls. :)

Here is one of my boys with scars:

    2. A couple of mine have visible scars that I don't have; Chione and Dante both have them on the face from different "this can only happen in a fantasy setting" accidents. In the story I gave Eva, a Fairyland Alicia mermaid, her mermaid tail is a prosthetic piece she wears after an accident caused her to need both legs amputated. She's the only one of my mermaids who will sometimes switch back to human legs, when I feel like putting her in the "before" part of the story.

Some of the invisible illnesses in my group are ones I have, some are not- anxiety crops up a lot because I have so much experience with it, for example. But, to use Eva as an example again, I've not experienced severe PTSD-causing trauma, but her character has.
