Does your doll wear shoes?

It amazes me still just how many doll owners are like parents; "my doll doesn't wear shoes until they go outside." Haha, it just makes me smile.

As for me, I have a pair of shoes for my doll's human feet, but it'll be longer still before I ever get to blush any of her human parts or her staff, so I'm just keeping my Impldoll CL Dorisy in her mermaid parts. No shoes will ever fit those huge, webbed feet XD

 

It depends. I have two characters that don't really need them, two more for whom sandals are more appropriate. Plus, I like to show off their cute feet with blushing and glossed nails. I haven't bought commercially made shoes in a long time because none of the available styles work with the outfits I make. I confess to having a downright phobia of stained resin, so my dolls just wear white undies when not being displayed.

 

Prim usually does, because she has a pair that matches the outfit she's typically in perfectly! Lilith doesn't, because I haven't bought her any yet ._.

 

My doll only has a pair of boots and a pair of leggings......so yeah she wears them mostly because she has nothing else lol!

 

For me feet are the least attractive body parts so my dolls must have shoes and socks on at all times.

 

The only BJD I have is really tiny, but she does have shoes. They are so hard to put on though and even worse difficult to take off. She spends a lot of time in her slippers as a result. Those are easy to take on and off. I would love to get a larger doll that could wear boots. I love all the BJD boots they have on the market right now.

 

Absolutely. I love shoes, an outfit looks incomplete without them IMO. Might as well be walking around without pants.
Even when I'm going for a cutesy comfy "at home" look, my dolls tend to wear fluffy (or felt!) slippers instead of nothing.

 

My two large boys have them but my tiny, Baby G, she never wears shoes... Just doesn't like them.

 

I don't actually own any shoes for my dolls, but if I had them, I think a few would wear them, while some would most certainly not.

 

I like them to wear both shoes and socks, have a hang up about that I purchase multiple pairs for some of them. I'm always looking for shoes for new or incomplete dolls.

 

Mine doesn't cause I can't find the type of shoes I want.

 

Mine wear shoes of some kin or other. Only exception is a newly arrived as want to make sure it's a keeper.

 

I love shoes. I'm a shoe-aholic. I found it quite odd that none of my dolls love shoes the way I do. I thought that would be fun for us to do together. But they're all like, "I already have a pair, mom. Don't make me go shoe shopping."

 

They do now haha, but they didn't until i bought their respective shoes, and they were barefoot a long time

My dolls only wears shoes when I go out with them to take photos. Also, I made the shoes for them, Because I really love the shoes that fit perfectly on her feet.

 

Before I got my first BJD, I had 5 pairs of shoes ready for her!. I love the cute shoes. I feel that may enhance a cute outfit and give more character. :3

 

I really love dressing my guys up so yeh, they all have shoes XD even just sitting in the house they wear them~~ although right now my girl is wearing PJs my friend made her, so no shoes right now :3

 

All of mine do, except for my Faustine * Volks Yo-SDG Papi, partly cos I need to find a perfect pair for her. Though, at times I want to hybrid her with some Soom Ai/Afi faun legs cos that's really what her character is meant to be; a little faun girl.

 

My boy bjd wears his boots everyday and the girl, too xD

I will have to buy a pair of shoes I think.
