Yes, I ordered her W/O a face up. I'm probably in for trouble with my old eyes... but I think all she really needs is a little eye liner. I haven't done a small face up for years though! I gave up Barbie repaints 4 years ago! Yikes.......
Oooh yay! Could you please post a pic of her without the faceup before you do the liner/faceup? Yeah she doesnt need much more than that.
On the website she appears to only have a bit of eye liner and lip "gloss". I wasn't about to pay $25 xtra for that little bit. LOL Of course I will post pix when I get her, before any spa treatments. I alway take "before" and "after" photos anyway. My concern is her tiny little eyes. I didn't order any additional ones from the website. Anybody know where I can get my mitts on a pair of 3-4mm eyes????
I buy tiny eyes from Amanda Martin from Dreaming Trees Studio. http://dreamingtreestudio.com/ She also has a shop on Etsy, I think. I just email her and she will let you know what she has in the size you want.
Be careful buying eyes called 4mm which were made for art dolls. In my experience, they're much smaller than the 4mm glass eyes sent with Peya. I wasted nearly $50 on custom-made 4mm eyes before my Peya arrived, only to find them completely unusable. I honestly think Peya is more suited to 6mm eyes, anyway.
Thank YOU Greenie! I am soooooo excited to get this little thing! I have ordered eyes from Amanda @ Deaming Tree and she does not make "paperweighted" eyes. They appear very flat and tend to follow you around the room when you look at the doll. It wierded me out at first, but I eventually got used to them. I only have them in one doll because I had to have them custom made with a smaller than normal iris for that doll. I'm planning on "Minuette" and my new 5" (OT) Anthro Bunny living "harmoneously" together in a dollhouse size cottage made to look like it is part of the woodlands. The interior will be filled with miniature Louis XVI style furniture.
Harvey has been patiently awaiting her arrival. He now has his top hat and "Tail" coat on and looks so dapper! But Minuette will not yet have any clothes to wear when she arrives. I will have to hustle a little and whip something up this weekend for her. 4/28/11-She's on the plane and heading this way!!!
Minuette arrived Saturday morning 4/30/11. To my great surprise she had 2 outfits included!!! No shoes though and the wig I orderd with her. She came with the most hideous, tiny pink eyes (which I promptly swapped for a little larger size blue eyes.) The blue eyes are a little too large to fit in her eyes holes so I will need to sand them down a little to fit better. I put her in her tiny lace dress so she could meet Harvey right away. Harvey was instantly taken with her (even though she hadn't had time to put her make-up on). They were most accomodating to allow me to take photos of them snuggling on the sofa together. Their little cottage is still under construction and won't be ready for them to move in for a few months yet.

So here I am joining this group now^^- (oh no doubble posts >_<') I want to introduce my Fjaer Snotra: I adopted her from lunaria1 and she arrived on friday. I promptly sewn the dress I planed for her and made her some shoes. Bwahh I love her! These dolls are really amazing °^° I'm impressed by her little tiny and beautiful fingernails and toenails! They are so incredibly small!! And because she is so easy to take on a trip I went with her to a nearby park:
