1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Doll carriers? What do you use?

Sep 26, 2004

    1. depending on how many i have to carry, i can fit most of them in this random bag i got as a promo from work, if i sit the SDs up in their fabric bags. but if i put the big guys in, i can't fit a lot of little ones. right now i have all my msd, yo-sd, tinies and soem other action figures all in that bag with room to spare.

i really want to get tubes for my SD dolls. you can get ones meant for carrying tripods/ large art projects/ etc that sling over your shoulder. (like this http://www.amazon.com/Staedtler-R-T...=UTF8&qid=1384865149&sr=8-1&keywords=art+tube ) i just can't find one in the dimensions i want, where i can afford it. would only be able to slide one SD in, but it would be great for cons since they are hard plastic, wouldn't have to worry about the doll being crushed. at this point, i may just build one out of plumbing pipes.

    2. Well i planning to buy a VOLKS carrier bag sooner or later so i can add my 2 dolls inside there when i go travel or anything so will see what happen or events like conventions too.

    3. I just ordered a 23" doll travel bag from My Twinn. The bag dimensions say it's 27" long. My new Iplehouse EID man (a Rex who hasn't come yet) is 27.6" long, so he'll be a little uncomfortable. But their bag was $39 with $8.95 shipping, which is much less than paying $40 for EMS shipping. That and I've dealt with My Twinn a lot in the past.

    4. I use an old photo case (to store cameras and such)
It is very safe since the inside is filled with pillows and the box itself is very firm.
Sadly it is small and only msd or smaller fit inside.

    5. I adore my bat carrying case I got from Monstro Designs. It helps me take him places without worrying about getting stains on his clothes or breaking his fingers or tearing his clothes. I highly recommend everyone get one! She can customize them for you too. :D

    6. That.. Is awesome. It could double as a Halloween costume too.

I got for Christmas a new rolling duffle bag so I don't have to use my picnic basket anymore.

    7. Beau~Barbare : It's pure genius ! :D

Personally, my Epidos (centaur version) fits in my Dollmore bag (the biggest one) but my centaur Chiron, none of my bags or my suitcase are big enough for him, argh.

    8. I use a Dollmore carrying bag. It's designed to use for msds. I can safely fit three msds and a tiny. I love it because there are extra pockets for stuff and a buckle to strap the dolls in. It's super cute and looks almost like a handbag. Plus, it's pink. My favorite color.

    9. I use a big travel duffel that I lined with cardboard covered with soft fleece fabric! I will take a picture tomorrow and update!

    10. I got this scrapbooking rolling case on black Friday. I made a removable foam bottom and divided insert for it. Since I mostly have 1/6 sized dolls it's perfect for me.

    11. I'm constantly buying things to use for carriers in an attempt tofind the perfect one. I currently have both an ImplDoll sd carrier that I reinforced with cardboard and a yoga mat carrier with the added safety of a doll pillow. I actually prefer the yoga mat carrier though simply because it's easier to carry. I also have a violin case that I'm hoping to convert soon.

    12. my first doll comes with the carrier bag, so i dont buy for the big one, small ones i carry out with a tiny fluffy bag whenever outing for photoshoot :) i dont usually buy another one specially for doll :) some bag are small and exact fits them which cheaper :)

    13. For transporting just the dolls (and just locally or by car), I use a couple of soft-sided tool bags I picked up on a Black Friday sale a couple of years ago. The larger is 18" across, making it an excellent size for MSDs (three can lay down side by side across the base, with padding around them; another two can go up on top with more padding). The smaller is 12" across, and fits two YOs quite nicely, too; I've even made a foam pillow with velcro straps to hold them securely in place, and plan a similar pillow for the larger bag. The smaller of the bags also has a "false bottom" (pillow and stiff cardboard) that allows me to carry a few more items above the dolls without any risk to them, so when I fly I use it as my small "personal item." (And when flying, I don't use the larger carrier, and instead tuck MSDs in old shipping pillows in a corner of my carry-on.)

    14. One of the BJDs I have is an Alice Cherry Blossom. She's the one that will go out with me if I take a doll. She fits in this little Hello kitty bento box I found....it's to cute and fits perfectly in my purse :dance

    15. I bought a doll bag, I think from DenverDoll, for my 60cm, but for my four 40cm I use a small rolling suitcase. It's like carry-on size. I can fit them all in there with their things, as well my little Hujoos.

I've considered making some kind of a little bag that I can around my neck for my Realpuki but mostly he just stays in his dollhouse because I'm terrified of losing parts of him.

    16. Ya'll so fancy...
All I have is a normal side-bag and a towel.

How much these cases cost for MSD size?

    17. I use a tote bag and buckle up my boy in the front seat. I'm looking for an actual carrying case so that I'm not worrying as much about his safety. Tote works for now, though, since he doesn't really travel a lot with me.

    18. Do anyone if we can buy a smaller carrier bag and kinda fold the legs of a larger doll (about 10cm longer than the length of bag) to fit in?

    19. I made a little crochet carrier for an individual doll, otherwise for right now I have this tote bag. I'm thinking of getting a basket and lining it with fabric for my next conventions.

    20. I usually carry my doll or wrap them in a doll pillow and put them into luggage. I'd like something more like a shoulder bag eventually!
