Doll carriers? What do you use?

I use an average sized Victoria Secrets bag.

 

When I am going shopping Lucine just rides in my purse but my fiance and I got a suitcase pretty cheap we are going to start using once we have more dolls to tote around

 

I just use my purse. She fits comfortably right in there.

 

Doll carying bag is expensive for me.

I plan to order a bag at a tailor shop. Price is around $4...i hope ^_^

 

I use AR, DOD and Luts bags for carrying my BJD's.
I wouldn't take them out from home in an unsafe way, NEVER!!!

 

Nothing, I carry them around in my arms.
I usually only take one with me at a time, or if a friend's comming, I'll have my friend hold Ryu and I'll hold Dante.
Only if it's one of my good friends, usually only Chrissy or Sandra. ^_^;
But, I think my dad might get me a carrying bag from Luts. :3

 

I need to find somthing else, cause my army has outgrown it. But all my minis ride in, this is kinda crazy an random, a great big FLW fishing tackle bag. Its the same size as one of the Dollmore carriers an has a LOT of pockets on it. Had to convert it some, thou. Added in some padding and a little reinforcing...but its perfect now! I can fit two of the big ones it and a lot of their stuff... but the kids took it over. The big ones just have to compete for arm space at the moment. Sept for L, he refuses to ride in anything small an inclosed.... so he always just rides on top of the bag >.<!!!!!

 

I haven't taken Kaida anywhere since she's so small. However, I did her take her once somewhere to show a friend. I didn't have anything to carry her in, so I put her in my purse. She fit perfectly, and really did live up to be a PF.

 

I carry him around every where, in the DoD bag he came in. :3

I've shown him to ALL of my friends, and dragged him to WORK to show off my friends there.

That got him a $40 XMas presents for clothing. Yay for what my carry-bag does for me.

 

actually this might sound odd but i went to a thrift store and found a little suitcase that was suppose to be for an old fashion hair dier unit that fits charlie prefectly all i have to do is fix it up a bit and 50 carrier case

 

Either my arms, or a little purse I made from an old pair of jeans, he doesn't quite fit in there, but he's sitting up, and I can see him when I tote him to school and such >w<
I need to make him another 'carrier' the other one is ripping >.<

 

a sling bag i bought at old navy- it holds up to three dolls (i suppose it could hold five if they sat in each others' laps) and keeps them close to my body if i wear it crosswise with the bag in front. i need to pad it, though, just in case

 

My Sascha goes with me in violin case. It's perfect for him, and I can put there many things also.

Doesn't show in the photos but the inside has a protective foam case. I'm pretty clumsey, so I included that for protection. Its handy having one with that many pockets, I can bring all sorts of extra outfits, eyes, wigs, fabric, pastels, etc.

I sometime carry mine in my laptop backpack. It has all sorts of straps and compartments in it that are perfect for taking them all somewhere at once. Other than that, they travel in my arms.

 

Is putting a doll in a violin case safe?? I've played the violin for years and I do not know if my case is safe enough for a doll....

 

There is actually a method of modding the case to make it softer. Also, if it protects a wooden $4-600+ instrument, a resin doll (which is stronger than wood) should be fine!

Some people have actually gutted a violin case and repadded it to make it nice and soft for their kids. The case itself looks cool, and there are those nylon cases with the pockets that are handy, too!

 

I carry my BJD around in a big shoulder bag I bought from Cirque du Soleil, since I'm way too cheap to buy him a proper carrier bag. The only real problem with this is that Rem to bumps into things often. (He must suffer for my cheapness. )
