Hello, I'm new to pretty much of all of this... very taken with the Doll Chateau line. Wanted to know if anyone knows what sculpt the head is that models DC's outfit AC-19? I was sort of thinking Pierre, something about the nose? So hard to tell. I would love to have whoever he is, that long wig looks so good on him!

Oh wow, i love his look! that smokey eye shadow, and his eye colour is really nice! Which body did you choose for him?
i really like that sculpt as well, i kept circling back around to him because their full set pictures were so striking.
DC could put me in the poor house, yes one of each please!

I haven't been on here in over a year, it feels like, and I haven't had the motivation to do anything doll-wise in a long while, but I just got my Doll Chateau Mephisto.Pheles I got in March arrived and I am in LOVE! He's my first 70cm doll, so I'm not used to how big he is yet. I do wonder, though, is it common for Doll Chateau dolls to come with VERY floppy legs? His arms are fine, if in need of a bit of sueding, but I can just flop him around like a ragdoll.

 

Yes, you do need to tighten him up, but not too tight.

@SteamWitch I thought so, I just wasn't sure! I've had to do the same thing to my secondhand Dollzone Annie, so it's not a new experience, I just need to get the time and a helper to do so!

@Grimalkin Ooh, gladly! I took a few preliminary photos, but I want to wait until I have better lighting to post photos of him here or on Instagram. So not now, but soon.

I finally took a decent picture of my boy, and decided on a name for him! He's Victor Tepes Dracul, although the first part is a pseudonym. Mostly because I realize his appearance already looks like a character I had in the first place!

what color resin is yours?
I really wanted the bone white, but I was late to the party and could no longer order him directly because of the discontinuation, so I had to find one on the way to a dealer that was unclaimed. I wound up with the new peach resin. i have no idea how it's actually going to look ha, but never mind that, definitely worth it to get one!

 

I used the cream resin, but I also did some image adjusting. He's like, I'd assume a yellowish white color? It's a nice color! I thought it was going to be a bit peachier, but that might have been my misinterpretation.It looks great with his outfit, though... Just hard to photograph!
