The shorts I have from there are MSD sized, and they fit perfectly. I'd say the rest probably fit about the same.
I don't think YO sized pants would fit at all unless they're stretchy and even then they'd be waaaaaay too short. Some shirts fit, if you like cropped shirts. Which I do XD so yay! long sleeves would again be, too short.
I use normal msd pants on my dc erica. It are some space for her in them, but they fits and dont fell of The big hips make it stay on. I am looking for whats fit for Alberta. Have any one tried something that works for the four legs?
thank you for your experience information. I will try some shoes made for 14" kish too. I will show when I get them, on my erica.
For my Alberta I made a Sari dress where I put elastic around her waist, pleated a length of fabric and tucked it in all the way around, then I took the selvedge at the end and tied it just under her arms. After that I made a little ribbon waist tie to give it more definition. The strip needs to be wide enough to go from the ground at her backside, up over and to her waist, with enough left to tuck in. I tuck the extra height at the front into the waistband. Albertas New Face w dress Standing by dhawktx1, on Flickr
Thank you! I cant sew on the hospital, but i knit and chrocet... but maybe I can get some help from my mother if I show her this picture from you. It seemed very elegant and I think it could work for one of my photo ideas - when my alberta dosent want to show the world she has four legs, and still have them. Yes, that will work in my book. Thanks again.
Cyberspacegirl: No problem. Has anyone found any specific brand of eye or seller that makes eyes that fit Bella's mold well? Every eye I buy seems to have too high of an iris dome. I may have to mod the inside of the eye sockets a bit to eliminate the gap high domes make, but would appreciate any info anyone has about what has fit her eye sockets best. For me, I've found that besides the eyes she was shipped with, cheap low dome acrylics like Volks metallics seem to fit alright.
I'd suggest Safrin eyes they seem to be pretty low domed..I have the same problem with my resinsoul crew and those seem to fit really well...I'm not certain where the eyes in my DC Colin came from they may have came direct from the company?? but I've tried the Safrin in him and they seemed to work well, sorry don't have a Bella.
Knibitz Thanks for that. I've been thinking about getting some Captured in Glass eyes but I just got a couple random sets of eyes on ebay and the dome was so high they wouldn't even sit straight in my dolls head. It's kinda put me off buying eyes. I think I'll look back at those, though.
I thougt I did not had anythug that would fit for aberta when she arrived. But, for my alberta, I have used a normal msd jacket. As a skirt in front, I use a triangular scarf, binded around her waist. For the "animalpart" of the body, I have a msd crochet dress. The upper fit perfect around her and the buttom part falls araound the belly and around on top at the two legs behind. She is completed dressed, and I can see the for legs clear, like I wanted. I took som pictures and placed in gallery yesterday. I have aso tryied with a msd skirt at the backpart, but she is more dressed with a dress, because that goes forward on the body too.
Wow! So many lovely dolls and outfits. ^o^ I'm hoping that the same sizes apply for my Queena when she arrives.
Most of my msd shoes istoobig. So I ordered, afterreading here, shoes for 14" kish doll. They works perfectly. I also crocket my own,and I think my Erica is sweet with them too. Dark-Aerith: I soongot mywueena too,so I cantry the sameclotheson bought and report
Hubby got Caty Bracken a couple of outfits from the Build-a-Bear Small Fry collection. One fit quite nicely (my favorite of the two), and the other wouldn't even dream of going on (which is fine, as Caty Bracken didn't particularly care for it...) The one that fit: Caty Bracken Valentine--Build a Bear Small Fry by Estes & Anne, on Flickr The top is pinned back, as I will be taking it in--easy adjustment, two straight seams.
