I'm waiting on a Nicola fullset, and your statement has me a bit worried. Do you mean she can't sit/falls over? Does her wings get caught on things? Or can they not stay out like you have them in the pic without falling down? Ugh, now I'm imagining all kinds of worst-case scenarios. Ryu
i have a hybrid, my Nicola lives on dream valley winged body i don't know how about her original body, but these wings are real pain she can't sit without support and it was a real challenge to make her stand with it even using doll stand

I just got a Dream Valley Rosa with wings, and I have been able to get her to stand unaided. She can sit unaided if she's got both knees bent and turned to the same side. My girl is still new and company strung super tight, so that might help. I'm looking forward to seeing your Nicola @Ryuichi Sakuma 13 ! I'm so happy with my bird-winged doll, I'd love to see what others do with theirs.
Hello everyone just wanted to ask if anyone knows which bodies would fit with a DC head? I've been looking for something more childish and less skinny for my Alva
I’ve had good luck putting Doll Chateau heads on Dollzone bodies (and visa versa.) They’re sister companies and their resins match.
@PoeticSoul Thank you that actually helps a lot to know that a DZ body will definitely work. Trying to guess work this is a nerve wracking lol
B4-02 dream valley body might work, but may not be much different of an aesthetic than DC's. i couldn't tell which body DC had Alva on though... the resin match is really close with WS, not sure about other shades.
My Nicola lives on msd girl body (B4-02 but with wings) from Dream Valley. color match is perfect and neck+shoulders proportions are ok as well. DV body has different style than DC, that's why i chose this one instead of having Nicola on her original winged body. it's more natural and looks like a real human proportions of the girl in her early teens
@Grimalkin Oh I haven't considered looking at DV yet though they probably do have the same aesthetics @xatshe I have noticed these companies tend to have more natural girl bodies, I may have to consider sanding down the bust but I wonder if i'm brave enough for it lol thanks ya'll!
@xatshe, what size wig does Kiyo wear? I'm debating on looking for a wig for Vhei-won, my Jedi transboy, but I'm not sure what size he'll wear. I'm also debating on what color and style it'll be. Also, does anyone with a Hyman know what size wig they wear? My partner is expecting his hopefully they will both be in the next BJDivas DC shipment, and has no idea what size he'll wear. I'm guessing that they'll both wear about the same size wigs. I'm really looking forward to making his first Jedi outfit and having a place for the wingholes, it'll be a real challenge! Ryu
i'd say it's yo-sd size, since her head is around 16.3 cm, but she has a custom made wig, that was made based on her head shape so can't tell for sure, but my serenadedoll has 16 cm head size and she is wearing yo-sd, thus i think the same size should be fine for Nicola too. Oh wow, that small? I would have guessed at least a 6-7 for the two of them. Vhei-wen might end up wearing his wig until I figure out what color I want to give to him. Hmmm.... Hello lovely people! Was just wondering if anyone here has ever tried putting a Hyman head on the K-body-01 or 02? (Or any other body for that matter). I'm contemplating options for my boy.
my Hyman came on the k-body-12, and in male 1/4 bodies i have a k-body-06 (i think, for Douglas), and a Dream Valley B4-04 (also version with wings), and a "Noah" centaur body. the other 1/4 i have are female (DV Rosa/Hathaway/Nicola, but he's too small for Laney prolly). but if you want to see any of those, i can take some pictures. i've not fitted for wigs yet, so i don't really have any info on that, but could try one on both heads if that helps, they appear to be the same wig size category of 6-7 type though.
Hi Grimalkin! I'd love to see him on the Noah body or any of the female bodies you think he might look good as! I'm going for sort of an androgynous look anyway so the gender of the body doesn't matter to me at the moment, it's more of a neck fit I'm looking for! I'd love it if he could fit on the B4-04 body too, but that's a 7cm neck so I'm assuming it's going to be a no go. Thanks so much for your help! And I can confirm that my boy fit into one of my minifee wigs, so around 7 I thnk. He did 7-8 okay when I put a rubber cap on him. I had him briefly on a Doll Leaves body which wasn't so great a fit, gave him a major neck crick. The Doll Leaves type II body does fit the Jason head (which has a slightly larger hole) pretty well though and is a decent resin match. Behold, my mischievous merman.
and indeed what a sight your merman is to behold! i love the purples and his ears are just fantastic! i have some stuff going on in the first part of the day tomorrow, but i'll try to get out everyone and do some swaps in the afternoon. Would you want to see DV Aiden boy with the tail and DZ's Dragon Po?
Aw, thanks! Purple is my favorite color, and my other merman is red and orange, so that's how he ended up with the color scheme! I definitely need to get him a wig cap though, his hair keeps sliding off. And no hurry, I really appreciate it! I'd love to see any bodies you'd be willing to try!
