I honestly can't remember. I think it was from a friend? Which is awfully unhelpful. Perhaps try searching something like "lightsabre keychain torch"?
Its okay, I'm not in that much of a hurry to find one for him anyways. Right now, I'm too busy working on his Padawan outfit! Ryu
Hello! I had a quick question and wasn't sure where to ask, if this belongs elsewhere please let me know! I wanted to get a body for my DC Noah (like how Alberta from way back then used to be able to switch between a centaur body and a regular body) but I still don't know how I feel about the way DC handles the wrists. Is it possible to just like...take out that middle double-jointed bit and still have the hands fit well?
Hi @captain. - my Douglas on the -08 body has the same size opening for the forearm and the extra joint. the hands fit in either spot. i'm not sure about the newer bodies.
ooh I probably should have said which body I was looking at (it's K-02) but I went to check the joint size and they do seem similar enough? also confusingly the dc website has them with the single wrist joint and acbjd has them with both double and single so...I guess that answers my question? thank you either way though @Grimalkin !!
You can remove the extra joint easily enough, though sometimes you need to tighten the stringing afterwards. I took the extra neck joint out of my Elizabeth spider, and I removed the extra joints from my Snow Nymph who is a Youth doll on the y-04 body.
Hi everyone! It's great to see so many beautiful DC kids! I'd like to share my precious Bella who accompanied me in a trip: IMG20220506131203 by Elsie Elf, on Flickr Spoiler: +2 photos IMG20220506131353 by Elsie Elf, on Flickr IMG20220506163650 by Elsie Elf, on Flickr
she is so cute! i especially like the last picture with the purple leaves, the colours complement her so well!
Thank you! I'm so glad you like her! Thanks! She had a great time indeed, though we both got tired Ooohh thank you, honestly, I was just taking pictures near every flower/bush, it's great that some of them turned out to be so nice
She's wonderful @abris! Though it does look a little like you've caught her in the middle of a snack.
A snack indeed! This sculpt is so fascinating, it’s absolutely one of my very favorite from Doll Chateau. Your little lady is lovely!
Would Violet fall into the Kid category of DC? I'd love to see owner pictures of her, plus I'm wondering if those small hooves can stand lol.
Yes indeed, Violet would fit in with this size. I’m not sure how well she’d stand with those sweet little hooves of hers, but I’m assuming it would be alright. Might take a bit of careful balancing however. But then that’s the case with a lot of Doll Chateau’s special sculpts.
I was wondering where to post Eunice, I think she falls under 1/4 still. She's the tallest of my dolls because of her molded high heels. Anyways, I'm not done with the wings, I will continue painting them tomorrow. But I did receive her wig today. I bought from a brand I'm already familiar with, and altered the styling, from space buns to french braids. I knew from prior experiences that the makers just style normal wigs so I was pretty sure this would work. It turned out just as I'd hoped. She still has a knitting needle where her wigs go Soon...
