1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Doll Chateau Margarita and Y-Body-6

Oct 14, 2016

    1. @Demiurgo Thanks! I am completely new so I didn't know! Do they take that long to ship all dolls or just the newly released?

    2. @Wabbie-chan As far as I know, DC limited dolls always had this time-frame.

    3. She is really a beautiful doll!!! I see lots of possibilities with her. Thinking about the witch in
Hansel and Gretel!!! I think that could be awesome!!!

    4. Do you guys who owns this body think that it might work as a body for a souldoll zenith female head?

It would be great to see other doll heads with this body + the doll standing next to other SD dolls to get an impression of the size

    5. In love with this doll, it seems very Halloween themed, did I miss Margarita last year? :)

    6. Anyone have any updates for DC Margarita? I'm still waiting for her and would love getting exact hand measurements, so I can make some props for her. Also, does anyone have any advice for buying shoes for her? I can't wait for her to arrive!

    7. Did you request flat feet? If not, then shoes will have to be custom as far as I can tell for the default heel feet. They are extremely arched and super narrow for SD feet, but bigger than MSD.

I just received the body (ordered in March) and sometime after I ordered, DC changed the description on the body to say that heel feet are default and flat feet must be requested. The dealer is working on getting some flat feet since I couldn't have known to request them when I ordered. I'm hoping the flat feet will fit something.

Maybe DC will make some shoes for this body.

    9. Does anyone know if she still comes with the non-jointed hands? I'm thinking of putting this girl on layaway in February, but I'm just not in love with the DC jointed hands. I have them on my DC Kids and in my experience they just end up going in all the wrong directions at even the thought of movement. :(

    10. She's definitely a gorgeous doll! As far as I know, they still come with non jointed hands and those hands are very expressive as they are. Shoes are a bit of a problem as Alice Collections SD girl shoes seem too big, but she can definitely stand in them if you have the high heeled shoes.

    11. She definitely did when I ordered her last year.

    12. @Chameleon and @Lady_addiction thank you both! I went ahead and ordered the body from BJDivas (I've got some hybrid ideas I'm falling in and out of love with) and I'm super excited. Now just to settle in and wait.

    13. I just ordered the body through them as well! I am going to put my Snow Nymph head on it.

    14. @francienolan oooh! I didn't even think of Snow Nymph as a good option, I bet she'll be lovely! I'm going to see if Evangeline works for the character I'm working on.... but I may end up falling back to the Margarita head, she is something special for sure.

    15. I have the Evangeline head and yes, she does fit into this body without any need for mods. You may need to suede her neck a bit for better posing.

    16. @Lady_addiction thank you! If you don't mind me asking, does it look fairly consistent in scale? The Margarita head seems small to me in the pictures I've seen, and I was worried that the Evangeline might be a little bobble headed.

    17. She is going to be just a little bit big because I believe the Margarita shoulders are narrower, but not enough to make it look terrible IMO

    18. @Lady_addiction thanks! A little big I can handle, especially since imagine her character in a pretty structured wardrobe. Now it's just the waiting game.

    20. @Lady_addiction thank you! She is quite special (also lovely, but I've noticed that my go to adjective lately) thank you for the comparison. I'm so exited to see my girl home and all put together now. This really helps.
