Yes @HoneyRyder she surprised me soo much. She stands better than my kbody-12.

 

I'd love to get one of these little ones! If DC made a male or an androgynous version I'd be on that so fast! I love the size of my Katherine so it'd be great to have more lanky tinies around!

 

Does anyone here with a Madeline or Katherine have any advice regarding wigs?
I'm guessing my Madeline is around a size 6-7 but I'm not quite sure how to deal with her ears when it comes to modifying a wig for her. At this stage I'm almost considering trying to make a custom hardcap wig. What are other people doing?

 

Hey, I am afraid my Katherine is still without hair too, due to her ears!!! The best decision I have come to is, to make a Mohawk style and use a small amount of blue-tack or Tacky glue to fix it. Or by making the hard cap as you said, I would also love to know more about modding a net wig cap to fit her ears, as I would hate for the wig to fall apart by doing a bad job. I hope we get some help and answers here together

 

@Zaliayn @HoneyRyder I'm making my Katherine a wig from scratch right now! No idea how it's gonna turn out but once I finish it I'll report back! Unless it turns out to be a complete disaster haha

Good to hear that my Katherine is on topic now, I still wanna get her some new feet though. She's got Withdoll hands and feet right now, which fit great but are mint green, so don't match. Hoping I can snag some in white eventually.

I got her mostly for the body shape, and I traded her paws away already, going for a more humanoid look than cat. Planning on buying her a Zora head when I get the chance. I haven't really worked on her because of the head, so she's pretty blank and boring right now.

 

Mine has a hardcap wig, no idea how to deal with the ears in any other option DX

This has probably been covered a million times but what can the B-body-07 wear? Will Azone clothes fit them? Barbie stuff?

 

I'd also like to see the result even if it doesn't turn out quite right!

I'm going to have to start looking around for mohair I think, wavy preferably. How much of it did you use to make Kassandra's wig roughly?
And Victoria is absolutely stunning! I love all the natural earthy colours - she's looks pretty well camoflaged in that setting!

 

I'm thinking of getting Katherine but those ears make me nervous about making a wig, I'' not terribly handy just yet about making wigs since I'm unsure of where to get the hair wefts.

 

If anyone has looked at the notice for the new dolls, you can order Sleepy by itself! I'm going to be getting one. I really want the spooky cats too (especially the black grinning one). I can't get over how adorable Sleepy is though. Anyone else going to get him/her?

The spooky cat is an event gift. you can only get it if you order the new big girl (or buy it from someone who doesn't want it). I'd buy one of each if they were available separately.

 

Oh i just have to get a Sleepy. He/she is cute as a button. Maybe blank in green skin? I like the way they paint the whole doll ,but that's not for me. Mine will probably be a boy.

I tried to take photos of the inside of her wig:



The headcap is still inside, hope it helps imaging how the wig fits around the ears.
I didn't need much fiber for her wig, I bought a bunch of mohair fiber back in 2014 (200g) and have used it for 2 1/2 wigs - the other ones being SD sized wigs - and I still have spare fiber for more.

 

Sometimes Dreamweaver will actually stand for me.

Thanks very much for the info and the photos - it was kind of you to take them. I think I've got a good idea for how to go about making Madeline a wig now.
With any luck, she shall no longer be bald by the time christmas comes around!
