1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Doll Chateau Tiny Discussion Part 2

Sep 17, 2014

1. Popped in to share some Zora love - my own came by total surprise xD

She's a lovely mold *3* But she'll be hard to clothe xD (I plan to make my own a fantasy skirt of some kind...)

2. The new tiny body like the one Zora cames with is as difficult to handle as the bigger ones. The more joints a DC has the lesser it can pose. My BB-05 body is really terrible to pose, but it looks really good.

Someone asked how she could look next to the MSDs:

Juniper is my Fairyland x DC Hybrid and she has the BB-05 body I spoke of.

She's wearing a Pullip dress here, the skirt is a bit too short. You have to take off the hands to put the shirt on (which would fit if there weren't the extra joints).

I'm planning to make a comparison shot some day with all the DCs I have here.. when they are finished and arrived.

3. elina: she looks beautiful! Seeing owner pictures is definitely making me like the head sculpt more. I can't wait to see Wanda!

4. I sort of want Wanda now too to make two adorable sisters ^^; Whoops! Isn't this the usual story? xD

5. Would anyone with a zora be able to take a pic next to a minifee? Just curious. I think you comparison pic is great Shchel, but I'm looking for next to the minifee body in particular

6. Also meant to say, she's just wonderful!!

What size wigs are these cuties wearing?

7. elina your Zora looks amazing.

8. Nice, thanks for sharing, where is it mentionned the back wing is separate? It was one of the main reason I have resisted so far... I am clumsy and afraid I would break it... that and the fact the head might be a smidge too large...

9. Skimo, it wasn't mentioned, but you can see it better in this picture from them: http://nd06.jxs.cz/838/785/cf9f1b6b33_100460951_o2.jpg
The wing piece is sitting behind her on the box. My guess is that it's strung, not magnetic, since there seems to be a little "ball joint" on the end of it. Which would be cool, since that would allow for wing positioning.

I am anxious to order this one for my Mushroom Peddler Hoot head, so this weekend at the meetup a friend is going to let me try my hoot head on her Zora body. I'll take pics to share!

10. I was wondering which heads would fit Zora too. She is very cute, but I wish the face was a little more mature with more open eyes. I'm also very curious to see her with an owl head.

11. CrazyAnna, then I will be sure to take plenty of comparison photos while I can. :D

Galacticat, no problem! They were they only owner pics I could find so far. :/
Hopefully I can place my order for one soon~

12. My Zora, the body is easier then the face-up

13. She wasn't something I planned to purchase, but I am happy to have a DC Ada. She is just so adorable and small.

I'm having a really tough time getting her to stand, but I'm assuming it's just part of having such cute legs and antlers. Is it easier to do with shoes on?

14. Any answers in which size wig is fitting the best? Wanted to make sure I didn't order too small or too large!

15. I've found that it tends to depend on what she's standing on. There are some surfaces that she stands like a champ on and others that she just says nope to~ I had to put down some fabric on my sewing desk because she kept sliding on the smooth surface, but on the fabric she did just fine.

I think shoes would certainly help. Her feet are so tiny though that I haven't found any shoes I like for my Ada yet!

16. Boussole: Thank you for the advice! The surfaces I tried to stand her on were all smooth and while I did get her to stand after some difficulties, I'm sure it would be easier with fabric... It probably helps from keeping her slip.

Yes, I'm sure it's hard. I was thinking of going to Toy's R Us and seeing if they have mini barbies or something that have shoes that might fit.

17. I don't know if this would damage the resin at all, but I bet you could add a tiny bit of moleskin to the bottom of the feet if you wanted for traction. Congrats on everyone's Ada's! So cute!
