She's here! She's here! I absolutely adore her, what a little sweetheart! I can't get over how huge she is! What a big girl I love it! I am trying different babydoll outfits I have and so far nothing is quite long enough She's so big. She fits so well in my arms, just like little baby:3 And oh yes, these little feets are gonna be so hard to find shoes for! Pics to come
Congrats on her safe arrival. I know, she is such a pudge. I just love her too. I am having some clothes made for by a lovely and wonderful person here on DoA (Bperry042--MyPie fashions) she has done some great things foor me (her jeans are the best) and until I get my sewing going agian ( work has kept me way toooooo busy lol) she will have some jeans, a top and some little girl bibs made. I may even go for some footy jammies. LOL I still have not found shoes for her but if I do I will post. Plus, I have her in line for some "spa" time. Once she is done I will post as well. Can't wait to see yours, do you have a name yet?

Oh cool, new eyes. What kind did you get? I am thinking of ordering some soft glass eyes from ebay. My little girl has chosen the name Audene, she still hasn't settled on a middle name yet. Audene means best friend so it is really fitting I have wanted a pudgy toddler bjd for ages. Good luck on her face-up and I can't wait for you to post pics!
She came eyeless so I set out even before she arrived to find a suitable pair. The ones I bought are a beautiful dark violet color and are made by Soom. I'm fairly certain they are glass but they may be sillicone. I bought them second hand so I am not sure, but they are really beautiful Ohh, soft glass eyes? What color are you thinking of getting? Audene What a wonderful name! And such a fitting meaning I will most certainly give this alot of thought, my little one deserves a lovely name also. I searched for the perfect name for her-THANKS! I like the sound of Audene but need a middle name. I am thinking of Rose so Audene Rose. My friend just gave her a temp face up and a hair cut. One she has some clothes, I will post too
I tried on of my Pomelo heads on a Volks MSD body and it was too large. She looked like a bobble head. I tried her on an SD10 body and the size worked but her face seemed to young for that body. Hope that helps.
I just got mine from the lovely person above me! I love her. She is unbearably sweet. I haven't gone through the whole thread yet, but have people found shoes that fit well?
Actually, the best fitting shoes I have for Audene came from Kathe Kruse doll shoes at my local "natural toys" shop. They are a suede Mary Jane and a little Ugg type boot. They do not look too "dolly"... I have also used some dollheart msd boots on her... I just stuffed the toe with a bit of wool roving because they were a bit long on her... she has that short wide foot. LOL
Bumping this to ask if anyone has found another body for Pomelo? I'm kind of in love with Qingcheng who is the same size as Pomelo, but I'd like a body that is easier to dress And is there anywhere else that sells clothes/shoes that fit, just in case?
I wish I could offer some advice on an alternate body, JLostein. I hope someone has tried different combinations. I sold my Pomelo a while back.. We just weren't bonding I love that size though and it was just that little face wasn't quite right for me. I am looking into trying again with Kelasi. Does anyone have her? I'd love to see any owner pictures. I'm afraid I'm falling for her *bites lower lip*
Alright, I am trying my hardest to uncover any owner photos of Kelasi just to be sure that sweet little face that haunts me daily is the right one but I am weakening.. I may just take the chance and adopt him My birthday is almost here and I have been trying to decide who on my wish list is coming home at last. He may have just trumped them all. Still, I would love to hear from anyone who has Kelasi or has seen owner photos on Flickr or on another doll forum or anywhere you could link me to. I appreciate any help! Sooo all that searching I did for owner pictures has been a total bust and I'm ordering Kelasi anyway! So now the question is what size eyes work best for these guys? I had 18mm in my Pomelo when I had her and I think that was entirely too huge. I'm going to say 16mm or 14mm would be better. Can anyone offer any pictures of their babies in 16 or 14mm eyes? Preeeeeaaase?

Wish granted... This is my Miyo head on a Kid Delf body. Personally, I mush prefer the head on the chubby original body. It is such a beautiful and unique size. P.S. Soooooooo sorry about the ENORMOUS pic. I tried to resize but failed. Hmmmph, technology!
