1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Doll Furniture

Apr 2, 2005

    1. Do you have MSD or SD sized dolls?
I have never bought any myself but the measurments for many of the My Twinn furniture would work for an SD.

    2. I have a chair for Tansy that I got from Volks. Luckily, it's large enough that when Sard arrives, he should be able to fit in it too. I felt bad leaving her laying around with nothing comnfy under her butt :D

I also heard that My Twinn furniture is the right size for SD, though I don't have personal experiance with it.

    3. I amazingly have two furniture pieces (Drawers/Chair) in a VERY small room I have, and I`m considering buying another furniture (decoration rack) piece which has a traditional Japanese/Chinese taste. (My kids have half my room D: )

I did not know Volks had Drawers available, but now I do :D

My kids also have a closet rack made from metal pieces which unfortunately isin`t in that photo.

I spoil em with furniture so much that I kinda forget I`m saving for new dolls sometimes @_@

    4. Songblade, I also live in Southern California, and I use to find great doll couches and chairs at Ross Stores, but recently I haven't been able to find anything!

The couches/chairs were almost all made by a company called Kingstate. I use to find Kingstate doll furniture on-line at The Doll Market, too. Unfortunately, I was told by The Doll Market staff that Kingstate has stopped making doll furniture, which may explain why I have not been able to find anymore couches or chairs at my neighborhood Ross Stores. Im really bummed about this news, because the Kingstate furniture was so perfect for my dolls, and so reasonably priced!

    5. I'm buying a lounge chair through a friend but i also enjoy making furniture for Reila myself because then is exactly what i am after and most of the time works out cheaper

    6. I have two doll chairs that are oversized armchairs. They are made out of really nice fabric and actual varnished wood. I bought them off of Ebay. Each chair was about 20 dollars a piece. They are really nice though, so I am glad I found them. I am also starting to collect doll sized things, mostly out of my Barbie collection. :D

    7. I was wondering, has anyone heard about this person/company?
I saw the link on the news thread about 2 months ago or so and after a while thread disappeared...I've been trying to figure out if they're legit or not since then...

Thay have a nice selection of furnitures and what's best, they are custom made...
      I tried to send an email once but never got a reply...;-;

    8. I make my own furniture for my son
But they don't look very nice :(

    9. I plan to buy some doll furniture oneday :)
After I get him more clothes :sweat
I want to get him a chair and desk I think :XD:

    10. I have never heard of "Simply J", but some of the furniture looks wonderful. I'll check around and see what I can learn.

    11. I have a black and silvery couch that's actually a jewelery box. It's a little low for my msd-sized doll, byt we're fixing that. Then I have maching jevelery hanger that has a doll's body, it looks little bit like a mannequin. Those will be probably be my dolls dressing room of a kind.
For the red room I have red mats, that room I hope to become the my dolls bedroom. For there I have few different types of drawers, red, blue and brown but they have huge size difference, so they have to be into the different rooms.
Allso I have a bath tub for a bathroom and few thought white furniture there. As you might have already noticed i have color theme for each room.
And I have a brown furniture, hat shelf, and two wardrobes, small chest fir sitting and a longcase clock for a entrance hall.
I took a pictures of those, now I just could try to learn how to post pictures and put them here. :)

Though I have to tell you that I been collecting these stuff for barbies for years first and when I stopped that and gave the barbie dolls away I didn't give the furniture and other stuff. :/

And I have a whole mansion to fill (and for build!) for my dollfamily of nine adult children. So this is just few rooms that I have now in my mind. I need so much more. :(

    12. I would love to have a whole bedroom set for my girl. I'll probably end up making most of it. =)

    13. They really have some neat stuff. <3
      Thank you!!! :D

    14. I'm sculpting all my own doll furniture. I want a stone look for their house, gargoyles and dragnons all that sclupted into everything. The dungeon will be the best part <3

    15. I have a double size sofa from Dollmore. It is very pink, much more pink than site pic. lol
And a small sofa which is actually is jewelry box that fit my Yo perfectly. :D

    16. I have a leather sofa fand a flowery armchair from Dollmore too. I also have some cute furniture for my Yo SDs from Soom, and a table from Y!J and a bed from Ikea xD I didn't know Volks did furniture, it looks really nice. ^^From now on though, I'll be making it ^^;

    17. Sanyu needs her own couch so she'll stop taking up room on ours! XD

After I get the other doll I'm saving up for, I think I'll make them both a couch that they can share. I don't really like Sanyu sitting on the coffee table with all of our drinks and papers and stuff. And when she's on the couch, people almost sit on her. T.T She needs her own space.

Oh, and I'm going to need a trunk or something for clothes after I get Gael because she's going to have a much larger wardrobe than Sanyu.

    18. What types of doll furniture does every1 have? Mine really does not have much, only a tiny bed for my PF.

    19. All I got is 2 SD size chair...A beautiful king size BJD bed is on my wishlist thou.:)

    20. I've actually made a sofa for my girls! And carpet as well but then carpet is actually extremely easy to make.

Initially I thought the sofa would be very difficult to make. It turned out to be a lot easier than I thought. Also, it was made from scrap materials so I didn't spend anything on it at all.

I can sew and have a sewing machine which makes it a lot easier as well.

The photos can be found here at my blog. I'm sorry that the page itself is in Chinese ... ^^"
