It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Doll Furniture

Apr 2, 2005

    1. I have some bunk beds that I played with, and if those fit, I will be using them, other than that I do have a wonderful pink bed, but it is like a cradle type of bed, not sure if my Clio would like that or not, but it is fancy and my favorite. I could see my Clio in a brass type of bed. Any1 know where to find 1 of those just link or PM me!

    2. Hey great job!:thumbup It looks so nice and comfortable and pink to boot!:aheartbea

    3. I got my furniture from antique stores. Sometimes they have furniture for porcelain dolls, the size is perfect for my girls. And the furnitures are in good quality! e.g. wooden sofa, chairs.

    4. If I had more room in my house, I'd totally get more furniture for my dolls. As it is, for now I'll stick with beds and the occasional photo shoot prop.

    5. I don't have my doll yet, nor do I have the space to set him up a little apartment type area for himself. I do want to get him a chair or something to rest on...I'd have to wait until I have him to get the right scale though. :)

    6. I've found some iron chairs, and a little wooden chair for my dolls that are to scale. However, since I was running out of sitting space, I bought a Dollmore sofa, which I love. <3 I think it was worth the price in the end.

I plan on getting more sofas and furniture, and I especially plan on getting a nice bed. :3

    7. My dad has made me a dolly bed ect.. And I've found some chairs at Joann fabrics. Plus I use some of my old dolly furniture from when I was little. I'm currantly working on making realistic yet fun appartments for my girls. :)

    8. Because I just recently got my doll and I am more preoccupied with spoil with wigs and clothing...I really haven't had time to look at any furniture even though I am interested in it. If I find something I like and happen to have the money for it I would totally be willing to buy furniture for my doll because he is important to me and I think he deserves it. :)

    9. I think you'd get a better response of how much people are willing to pay if you posted pictures of the furniture in mind. Just my two cents. :)

    10. I have yet to buy some dolly furniture for my kids. I would suspect that I'd be searching at antique stores or yard sales for cheap little sets. I have heard about the Japanese dollar stores that sell cheap furniture.. I wish there were places like that around where I live!

    11. I seem to start every post with this (=.=") but my doll hasn't arrived yet, but I'm making him a sofa at the moment, and I managed to dig out a large bed from a store room which *fingers crossed* should fit him. I'm going to be searching around toy shops for big furniture as well though ^^ As long as it's not too pricey ;S I'd prefer to spend money on clothes and necessities for him, because he can always sleep on my bed if he must xD

    12. not really, my dolls just use my own (for them oversized ) furniture. I do have a chair for my girl, which is a modified high chair of one of my moms old dolls XD;; just so she can sit with me on my desk so she isnt sitting in all the mess *_*

I would like to own a doll sized bench though :) but not a bed or kitchen set or something...

    13. I do! Most of my dolls have beds and all that. THey actually have a flat that they live at and all that. I might start working on a factory for one of them,. It will be totally awesome when I finally finish it.

It also kinda stops you from getting more dolls and just spoiling the ones you have, yah know.

    14. As soon as I brought Proto-Elphaba home, my mom went into the garage and found a wicker chair from her old craft shop that fit the doll perfectly! Right now, the chair sits by the TV with a makeshift table beside it crafted from a bottom out of a wicker basket and a large candle stand, with a tiny Chinese vase on it filled with miniature easter lilies.

I plan to start construction on an SD-sized bed very soon, and I'm hoping to make lots of furniture to go along with it over time~

    15. I have bought a couple of chairs and one was too big and then I foundone that fit my MSD size girls. It's hard to find that right size I think.

    16. I was cleaning out my basement and ran across a couple piece of beanie baby chairs! They fit my BC Blue Misty Roko perfectly. So now I have some furniture. I need more of a faerie elf atmosphere in my home though. Anyone got any suggestions? I have mostly antique furnishings. Most of our dolls are elves.

    17. Yes, I like furniture to go with my dolls. I try to find the unusual unexected stuff, like a bath headrest, which is an exact BJD tiny copy of the famous lips/mouth chair! I also go to fleamarkets to find homemade larger sized doll furniture.

However I also ordered a set from:

I can highly recommend Joan. She sells excellent stuff. It's not cheap, but it's worth the price you pay!

    18. I like having doll-sized furniture for my dolls, though probably wouldn't spend a lot of money on it. I managed to pick up quite a few lovely pieces at Ross awhile back, though, and am very pleased with them! I don't have doll stands, and so my dolls have always just sat around on their shelves. It's much nicer to have them sitting around on shelves on furniture. ;)

Furniture is also great for photo shoots. My yard is not very, um, doll friendly, so I often like to bring out one of my extra pieces of doll furniture for my doll(s) to pose on/with during photo shoots. :daisy

    19. Our yard is huge with a pond, lots of trees, very faerie and elf themed. Roko wants her own frog! We have plenty of em!
