1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Doll Furniture

Apr 2, 2005

    1. yeah I hope to get my girl at least a couch/chair and hopefully a new bookcase <-- for myself which i desperately need---> to keep all this extra stuff on. stores like ross always seem to have miscellaneous junk that looks like it would be good for a doll.

    2. As I intend to do photo stories I've been collecting lots of furniture. Actually I had some BEFORE I started collecting BJDs (chairs for my porcelain dolls etc plus mini tea sets & china).
I now have many chairs; dressers (from jewelry boxes); a table (a tea table from Hong Kong); a pool table (my FAV find!); upholstered couches & chairs (one's a cat bed!) etc. I will be able to create a kitchen; dining room; a bar w/pool table (YAY). I am right now trying to figure out if I should buy these 1/3 size AG plastic beauty parlor chairs. They are PLASTIC - flimsy - but still $30. If I got 3 (2 have accessories like brushes & curlers) I could do a beauty parlor shoot - but they are cheap cheap plastic - I'm so torn :(

    3. I have a wicker chair that fits Kell. I got it at a thrift store for USD$3.99. I'm currently planning a sofa for Kell and my partner's boy Ronin (when he arrives) to sit/lay/frolic on. :)

    4. The wardrobe is a key cabinet the chest of drawers is a trinket box, both plain wood from Ebay.

    5. Cute bench, white is a good color for it. What size doll does it fit?

    6. It fits msd sized dolls.

    7. I don't own any doll furniture, but I love dollhouse furniture so I would love to have some BJD sized furniture.

    8. New purchase....separates out to two beds, ideal for really tiny tinies.....

    9. wow it's a really cute bunk bed!

    10. My dad is making me chaises longue and a vanity table for my Msd. I have to help design and make them, but if it turns out well he wants to make more of them to sell. Will post pictures if he ever finishes them.

    11. That bunk bed is adorable!

    12. I'm planning to make it by my own! I already have in mind the bed, the closet and the table with chairs that i would like to have for my bjd! *^*
I sketched something, but i have to wait till the doll arrive, for the measures!

    13. I won't go all out on furniture and accessories but did just buy a couple of chairs from dollmore - they seem to have quite a lot of furniture. I find them really good for photographing dolls and just an easy way to display them as well

    14. I think sourcing/making furniture and accessories for your dolls is most of the fun! I don't have any dolls yet, but am always on the lookout for bits and bobs that would suit! Have already bought a wee bed and drawers, and plan on making my own bedding at some point too!

    15. I often buy small furniture like chairs and pillows, but big furniture in shops where I go, like cupboards and beds, is small for my dolls. I can afford to buy expensive furniture, but within tolerance, not more expensive than the human furniture.

    16. I made a sofa for my large size boy , got a wicker chair at a thrift store and found a Kingstate Dollmaker chair on Ebay for less the $20 including shipping. So I have a living room for less than $200 . Now I just have to set it up. LOL! It just takes perseverance and knowing your doll's measurements. My boy is out but here are some photo's of the pieces taken with my phone.

    17. So far, I have a mini-sized chair, a mini-sized bench, and a sofa frame/daybed sort of thing that my friend bought me. :) My OT 1/6 dolls also have an extravagant amount of furniture. I really want more mini-sized stuff, since that is my preferred doll size. I get a lot of it for cheap at my local Goodwills.

I also have a plush, pink, satin chair for teddy bears that's mini-sized and my doll absolutely HATES it. So I love posing her in it.

    18. Everyone needs to check this out. There's a furniture maker on etsy named Star. Her shop is called bedsbystar, and she makes fully customized furniture in ANY size you want. My dear mine boys are an awkward size between yo and tiny, at 20cm. I told her this, and she made me this wonderful bedroom set to fit the scale PERFECTLY.

Best part? The entire thing cost about $40. EXTREMELY good price for amazing quality. Every detail is so cute, and I got everything in the picture from her, even the cute little snack on the bed. It's just wonderful.

    19. mt girl has a toy chest and dresser that I found at a craft store and she has a bed that I made out of clothes pins wooden dowels and popcicle sticks lol
