Well, I've put an order in for a Lloyd head with Maggot, the UK's DIM dealer ^^; Ohhhh... I shouldn't have, but I'm SO excited!
So...grown up versions of Sergei and Aleksei, basically. I have to say that my excitement died as soon as I saw Llyod's lips. Bleh. But I did like his eyes. I'm also not too happy about Andrea's look. I don't know. I guess I was just expecting too much.
I want Andrea's cape thingy, the one with the zip up collar (not the vest) . Very Cloud-esque, I love it!
I can't decide if I'm ordering Lloyd as a full doll or just a head yet--he's killing me though XD That love at first site thing is terrible for my wallet . . . of course I see on the site it says a 45 day wait for the full doll, w/face-up add an extra 10 days X__X *le sigh* here we go again . . .
MaggieMoonbeam, I see pretty much all of the DIM sculpts as girls I like the attitude that these two new sculpts have. I have great plans to eventually buy a DIM boy head, and find a suitable girl body for it. I can add these to the list of candidates.
I wish I was better with photoshop, so I could see what lloyd looked like painted more as a girl! Lishe
O.O I'm in love with Lloyd. He doesn't fit either of the characters that I'm looking for, but I absolutely love him...
I thought of Koodoll, too... I love Lloyd. I didn't think I'd ever get 60cm boys but DIM has such beautiful boys! Does anyone know if DIM is phasing out anyone to make room for them? I know so far they discontinued Persia, who was quite pretty... I don't want them getting rid of any boys I might buy in the future!
DIM definably has the better scuplt. You can see the difference in heads compared to the Konodolls. I don't think I could afford either at the moment.
My Lloyd head will be arriving without face-up, so once he's here I can take photos of his blank head for anyone who wants to photoshop in a face-up :3
I love them both! I'm especially fond of Andrea. I think I prefer Lloyd's sculpt over koodoll Blue, too; Lloyd's softer and prettier to me, but has the same haughty and exotic features.
I think EVERYTHING about him is Cloud like XD I'm sure DIM did it deliberately. Actually, when I saw his wig, I thought of your Cloud doll in particular! Okay ^^ He should arrive in a little over a week, so I'll post photos here then!
OOoooh... bugger! I don't know if I should get Lloyd! I love his eyes, but his lips are too swollen for me. I dunno if sand papering them down would work. I like that he's not too happy, like the annoyed version of K-Doll Karon I'd get Karon, but I just can't "envision" him looking anything but smiley. I guess I just have'ta wait and see everybodies Lloyds and Karons...
I love both of them! I Think Andrea is very pretty and Lloyd is adorable with that pissed off lok on his face. Oh, if only I was rich!
I think they're both great. I loooove Lloyd, and am very tempted to get a head to see how he looks with my Blue (whom I flat-out adore.) DIM just keeps making gorgeous heads, dangit.
I love them both- particularly Andrea I think Lloyds blushing is a bit overdone- he would look better with none at all IMO.
