Last photo of my boy with this faceup I got him a new body that matches his normal skin (Migidoll Beige, comparisons here if anyone interested)

As much as I like this faceup - I feel it doesn't fit the image I have of him. For his next look, I'm looking for a more grump elf look

 

@mydaffer shes so cute Did you paint her face too? Goodness I want to play with her lol Yeah this thread be quiet for a minute. I’m waiting on an outfit for my Bbjorn to post him in with. Maybe I’ll play with him this weekend and post some pics just so I can get some new pics of him

O sorry, my post is confusing The picture I posted today is the new Faceup (but I haven’t taken any new pics lately.) His old face is above your picture dated August 26, 2024. Yes, I’m not wiping this face, it is perfect Steppencat painted his face for me. I did have DIM’s original face but i wiped it to resin match to a newer body. I’ve gone through 2 faceups and 2 bodies to finally get the perfect face and body He is my perfect elf boy now

I’m still looking for his best wig though-one that can show off his little elf ears more

 

@mydaffer all your DIM dolls are so beautiful We got to do a DIM meetup one of these days so my dolls can get pictures with your dolls is your 2nd Bellosse in white skin?

 

Oo good idea! I been watching some wig making vids lately- I’d like to try making some with mohair. And I want to get into sewing clothes for my dolls. Maybe one day sell it is so hard to find 60-65 cm male clothes these days.

 

Are they newer or older DIM? Also, factors like yellowing should be taken into consideration. My Bbjorn from the early 2000’s, who wasn’t yellowed much, matches perfectly to Migidoll’s Merigne Beige Skin (the name of their Normal Skin). I did some resin comparison here

The pictures at the very end has my Bbjorn with a faceup he no longer has, which doesn’t match the skin (it was resin matched to another body.) I had his Faceup redone with out color matching as the head matches the Migidoll body well.

I also have some comparison to DF-H yellow skin- which is a decent match. The DIM resin though, is a little more pink in tone.

 

Ahh ok, I had one from that last group order and it did not match any of the Normal skins bodies I had- it was too pink. I would check the mini DIM discussion thread to see what others have used.

lol I get what you mean, my BBjorn has a big head - but not just big, unusual too. His head is too tall for fiber 8/9 wigs. If I go a size bigger it’s too big Right now I have him in 8/9 long mohair wig that works but I want to find a fiber shoulder length eventually. Do you know what kind of material you looking for? (Fiber, mohair etc).
