    1. I received DF-H body and my Byron today :D

      I got the 3 piece torso, 65cm body in NS Pink. It’s not a very good match to BBjorn (who I got this body for) the body is way too light and too pink. Also, IMO, the head doesn’t seem to sit on the neck very well even tho measurements is close to the old DIM body neck measurement.

      After I do pictures and comparisons (and I have no more visitors) I will probably do more body hunting. I thought the resin would at least be a somewhat close match, but it’s not close enough that a faceup would cover it. I’m thinking Peach Luts might be a better option- I do like my BBjorn on the Muse body as it fit the neck perfectly and did not look bobble headed.
      The DF-H resin matches my DIM Flowne perfectly tho- I got her in last years DIM order, so if we happen to get any SDs from Denny and you’re wondering what body to get, DF-H Pink Normal is a very good match:XD:.
      DF-H does not seem to match my NS Annelise head, Annelise looks a tad yellow by comparison. But they are both light colored that Annelise could probably work with some faceup magic. The BBjorn head is older than Annelise- the resin of both look really different in comparison. I believe BBjorn was made early 2000s, Annelise would be 2010s.
      Byron is really yellow and doesn’t match any of the DIM resin I have :XD:. I’m thinking to dye him white or through makeup:3nodding: I’m hoping to make him princess pretty :chibi

    2. I did a hybrids post here for DF-H body and BBjorn. I've decided I want to keep the body, I really like it for the BBjorn head :chibi

      Krystina, your BBjorn actually looks pretty good on that body. I’m not crazy about super-muscular bodies, but that body is nicely muscled.

    4. Ty- I think this body perfect for him :blush I was a bit worried about the body being too muscular, but I really like the sculpting of the arms and the bigger, rounder shoulders. It looks really good with the bigger head. When I get DIM Byron cleaned and wipe the Annelise faceup off, I’ll add more photos with head swaps :chibi

    5. Glad you're able to make some progress towards the floating heads getting bodies thing @krystina ! It's overwhlemed sometimes. I will be so excited to see some of your dolls coming together!

      I had to dip out of this thread for a little bit with all the order discussion :sweat I hope you can all manage to get enough interest for the sculpts you want though. I'm definitely rooting for you!

      I've begun another makeover I think for the world's most patient Lloyd :XD: I realize I was already making him new clothes in a completely different style earlier but we just won't talk about that
      I actually do this a lot. The equivalent of throwing paint at a wall until something sticks and then I shuffle around the clothes that have no owners until someone keeps it and then I rehome the rest. It's... Some kind of method lol.
      Anyway! A friend I trade fabrics with occasionally sent along these amazing books last time, one is a gothic & lolita themed Japanese street fashion magazine photo collection and the other is from Fruits of the 00s colorful street fashion looks and i'm going to attempt to steer Nagi (Lloyd) in that direction because I'm determined to eventually have a doll with the colorful mix and match thing or die trying. :mwahaha

Thank you :XD: Sunday I finally had some time to wipe BBjorn, Annelise, and Byron’s faceups- I made a no-no and used a blue nail color remover- it turned my babies skin a little blue :sweatFortunately i found my Volks paint remover and a magic eraser and got to scrubbing. I think I got most off, I’ll post a pic later:blush. His face is so pretty even without faceup :love I thought I had a look in mind for him but now I’m having 2nd thoughts :XD: After I get BBjorn complete (goal is by end of this year) I think I’m going concentrate on downsizing (unless Denny pops up out of nowhere with some dolls for me to buy:XD:) Next year I want to start on my Arttong Nymph. She look like Benetia but tiny sized :blushI got some cute looks for her in mind.

      I just love this new look for Nagi, he just looks so laid back and comfortable. Im excited to see his Fruits Evolution :chibi

    8. I got my Azelia Tuesday, I am shocked at how much smaller the head is in comparison to my DIM boys! I am concerned with the body I had in mind now. Thankfully my bestie has it so I can ask to try it on when i see her next.

    9. I feel you there @HighPriestessIce I hope you can make Azelia work like you wanted. I had her and Annelise once but already had Lloyd before that.... And it's a completely different proportion and style of doll put together. Azelia is beautiful though so I hope you can figure it out :eusa_pray

      Thanks for the nice comments everybody too :hug: Nagi is in a seat of honor next to my bed where I am currently trapped after injuring myself yet again. It's getting old. But nice to see the dolls here in their new outfits when I'm laid out. Nagi is indeed, the forever mellow one around here.

      @krystina ah the color accident with polish remover sounds stressful! Glad it was ok in the end! No terrifying mishaps allowed :XD: what styles are you planning for the dolls you are working on putting together? If you know and want to share of course

    10. @HighPriestessIce i felt your same surprise when I got Annelise :XD: I think with a wig though, might look alright when he/she is with your other dolls. I put Annelise on a 70cm sized doll body and it honestly didn’t look bad. I’ll post an old picture later :chibi

      @AlisonVonderland ty! Yes I hope this is the last scary with BBjorn XD. I been scouring Pinterest for looks and found a few examples I’m hoping Paulianne can combine together :D I’m thinking salmon pink eyeshadow with shimmers and some light blue accents around the eyes and accent his ears :chibi I think I’m going for cute and charming colors. I’m debating if I should do neutral expression eyebrows or have an expression. His brow bone was sculpted in a way that he looks worried, but I don’t want that expression for him. I will think on this some more. I kind of want to give him a beautiful fool character that Anima teases but secretly is crushing hard on :XD:

      I'm looking at the Dollzone 60cm body for Azelia, I think it could work, the neck is the same measurements at least. But yes next to my Lloyd the head is tiny. But it's around the same size as my F60 Lishe so they won't be too out of place. I'm looking forward to a smaller SD, all my dolls have steadily gotten bigger over the years. Both in height and bulk.

      I recently went to Toronto's fashion district and went on a huge fabric binge. Hoping to get fabric for all my boys but it seems my Lloyd demanded the most. Nearly everything in the suitcase was for Leviathan. So I am sewing an entire new wardrobe for him, including boots. I'm using my 3d printers to print the platform soles. I am anxiously awaiting the buckles I ordered to finish them.

    13. I sent my boy out for a faceup a couple days ago - I miss him already XD. The artist (I sent to Paulina, same person who did my Anima's faceup :3) said she anticipates completion November/December (possibly January). I'm not worried tho, he in good hands :XD:

      I wanted something a little glamourous and bright, but soft. And the eyeshape on this image looks similar to BBjorn's eyeshape. BBjorn won't have any tattoos or scars XD. He a baby girl :chibi

    14. It's been really hard to work on my boys this summer with the heatwaves. Yesterday was 43C with the humidity at 90%. I did manage to make Volta some new earrings today. That'll hold me until the cooler weather and moisture goes away. Then I can give him a proper face up.

    18. @HighPriestessIce Ugh I'm sorry your weather is so awful. Actually it's just a bit worse than it's been here, which is to say -- like hell on earth. We are finally starting to enter the early fall dip in humidity which is to say it's creeping down briefly to 50% in late afternoon.
      I have a miserable backlog of faces I would have liked to paint earlier in the year myself.
      Your earrings on him look so cool! :D the right tiny findings for such things are amazing. I have been neglecting to keep up here recently, but his earrings make it look like maybe he'll be a bit of a goth?

      I wish we could have a doll in mind tea party with everyone together. That would be fun :hug:

      Hope you all have been doing ok through the dog days of summer.
