Oh how cute she is Milly! I never thought of using both heads for the same character- that's awesome!

 

kadepie, all the stuff she has on came from dollb. It is pukifee size, not a snug fit, but passable. So excited for you to get your girl (or boy?)!

YAYAYAYAY and woohoo. Milly, she is gorgeous, now I want Dang Dang. I love your idea of using the two faceplates for the same character, brilliant!!! Edited to ask, do her eyes fit well? Just looked more closely at your close up photos and it looks like they fit snugly in the eye socket?

Thanks, kadepie! I really thought the Ding and Dang heads looks just like twin sisters, and as I couldn´t buy them both I thought it would make her wonderful sleepy/giggly head!

Yup, I was just going to add my + and - thoughts... Here you go with pics.

The eye sockets are too low/small in my opinion. In Dang head you can see inside her head if look in side of her eye:



In the Ding head it just isn´t deep enough to set the eyes there well. Luckily that doesn´t really matter, I think if I´ll add lashes she don´t even need eyes in that head. There also was some odd gloss in her other eye, even though she had no face-up at all.


I must also say even though the face-up is nice, it´s not as well done and artistic as for example Fairyland face-ups. But it´ll do just well, and as I got it free I´m happy with it. But if I´d have paid $35 for it, I wouldn´t have been fully satisfyed.

Milly77, bowerbird, Carolyn, sugarlump -lovethe pictures you guys posted. The outfitsutfits and shoes are so cute. Do you make your own or buy from others? What size shoe did you end up using? I'm still waiting for my Dang Dang to arrive. At this point it will be next Monday before she arrives.

Milly77 - I appreciate your information on DangDang. She sure is cute anyway. She will be my first BJD so I won't have any thing to compare her with. That may be a good thing. As long as she arrives in one piece with her sweet face I sure I will be very satisified!

We could buy all the heads and have 4 expressions for the same girl, sort of an elfdoll Hana type affair. Here is Daisy meeting my Mui-Chan Sunny. She and Pru keep calling her "Craizy" I think the continual giggles are not their type of girl. Daisy doesnt care, she is happy go lucky , not at all concerned about how others see her

I didn't know that you could buy the heads separately? I checked on ebay but couldn't see anything. Can someone point me in the right direction please?
Imajica, Little Mui Chan looks amazing. You are so lucky to get her in tan! 'drool'. Don't worry Daisy, I'd rather hang out with a happy girl like you than anyone else I know! Crazy is a good thing sometimes LOL

I must say, I do am very satisfied with this girl, I hope you didn´t get me wrong. I think this cutie is lovely, but still it´s a bit different than what I´ve used to, that´s what I meant to say.

My doll has Pukifee clothing & shoes right now, and a too big wig. Some of the clothes are got from swap, and some I made myself, and the shoes are from http://www.rubyredgalleria.com/. The wig of Alessiina is loose one without user at the moment, but I´m going to make her a mohair wig when get some more mohair.

imajica, that´s hilarious pic! I love Mui-Chans, as I think I´ll never get Mui-Chan myself.

While I checked last time there wasn´t separate heads in their website, but I asked by email if that´s possible to purchase head only. It was so nice to get that, as I couldn´t have chance to buy two whole dolls at once.

 

Milly 77 - Thanks for the information. I am still waiting with bated breath for Dang Dang. I hope she arrives tomorrow. Meanwhile my eyes are wandering and looking at all the other wonderful tiny BJD. I keep looking at all the Puki dolls. They are so adorable. So, my question is... on your etsy site you have a pink sweater listed. Is that Puki Anti with a sleeping face? I have only seen her with open eyes. I would like to eventually get one but never considered the sleeping face till I saw your picture. Of course, I may have to start with a Ding Ding first since she is so darn cute with her great big grin. As you can see, almost one (since she hasn't even arrived!) is never enough.....

Milly 77 That is such a cute picture of your two girls. I must admit, the sleeping faceplate on Ante is adorable. Cutie pie Dang Dang must be such a delightful doll to have around, I'm sure she puts a smile on your face each time you look at her!

 

I just saw the UPS truck drive very fastly by, probably WITH my little giggle girl. Apparently according the UPS site they wonder what the correct housenumber is.

I went like:" Come back with my little giggle girl! I'm right here! "

At least she is probably having a great time being lost....
