Doll Leaves 16cm BB's Discussion

Apr 26, 2010

    1. Birdie, you always dressed her sooooooooooooooo lovely.
The outfits on her is just sooooooo perfect.
It must be very happy to be with her everyday. ^^

    2. Thank you, Carolyn_nizi ! Yes, I feel absolutely blessed having her and little DangDang around (plus, I have a Realpuki Soso, shown in my avatar - she too has never failed putting a smile on my face). That's the great thing about tinies - while most larger BJDs are so serious looking, nearly all tiny manufacturers make sure to produce at least one mold with a happy face. :)

Supaisu welcomed two new Sonny Angels to our gang today, seems as they are getting along pretty well:

    3. These are cute. Do these dolls wear Lati yellow size clothes?

    4. Dollightful, yes they do - except they are slimmer and with longer arms, so some garments may look a little too wide and short. Body comparison:

    5. Thank you so much birdie. That is a fantastic photo!!!
I looked at the Doll Leaves website. I only see the Alice in Wonderland dolls. Don't they have the basic 16cm dolls for sale?
Did any of you get the 20cm or the 12cm. Do you have size comparison pics? Thanks for any info.

    6. Yes they have basics not up though, you'd have to poke the dealers for them :>

    7. You can also contact Dream_mapleleaves through eBay as that's their ebay ID but they're very good at answering their emails through their website as well. I've got 6 of their dolls whilst the "buy 1 get 1 free promotion" was on and now I've ordered Alice and the Red Queen so I'm waiting on them to be finished right now

    8. I've got Milk and Cherry who are 12cm and Fay and Mic who are 20 cm. Do you want to see a photo of them side by side?

    9. YES (pretty please?) ;)

    10. Okay, I've taken the photo. Just as soon as I get my card reader to work I'll get them up

    11. I know this might be posted somewhere here in this thread, but I can't seem to find it. Can anyone tell me what the best wig size for there little ones are?

    12. Fiiiinally I can properly introduce my little girls :)

Here's Ynnimi (DingDing) and Oopsie (JiaJia):

    13. TeamTwo, Ynnimi and Oopsie are adorable :)

    14. TeamTwo, what cute little girls!

    15. Teamtwo, they are such adorable babies. Wow, the refesh color make me deep in love. Where did you buy their outfits? I am so curious. Also, the wigs are so charming!

    16. Thank you for your kind words!
As for your question about wig size, regular 5/6 (Lati Yellow) is a tad too big, and 4/5 too small, I think a 5" would be much better. Maybe Monique gold in 5/6 would do, since they often are a bit tight/stretchy, I don't know

      Thank you :D

Hihi, thank you :D I love them too!

The outfits are bit and pieces, Ynnimi, the blonde, is wearing a dress and headband by pumuq on Etsy, shoes by Ruby Red Galleries anda leggings I made her. her wig is by MonstroDesigns, also on Etsy.
Oopsie is wearing a black furwig I made for her, also jeans/pants and sweater by me. Her little hat is by bupu I think, and her shoes is by Monique (25mm sneakers) :)

I have started knitting stuff for this size, they have much longer arms than LY, and I hope I will get some up in my Etsy shop soon. But dresses and strechy pants/leggings they can share :D

    17. So cute, Team Two.

I kinda wish Lati Yellow had longer arms. They can hardly hold anything. lol

    18. Thank you :D
I know what you mean, there's quite a bit of attitude and personality in arms.
I love my Lati Yellows, but I sometimes feel they're mostly a pretty face O:-)

    19. TeamTwo, your girls are adorable!! I love the colors!

I recently got my two girls, I jumped in on the Christmas sale last minute, impulsively. When I originally saw the company photos of these dolls, I hated them. It wasn't until I stumbled on some owner pictures did I see how adorable they really are. Now that I have them I am so impressed by the quality!!

Here are my two, Dang Dang and Ding Ding (excuse their nekkidness, I haven't had time to sew for them yet :sweat).

I haven't totally decided on their names yet, but I'm thinking Sprout and Pepper.
