I just got in on the Junky Spot black Friday sale by ordering a Doll Leaves Lili! I have a set of twins that have been sharing a body, so I'll get to split them up. I'm slightly bummed that their sculpts won't match, but it is a boy/girl twin set, so it probably won't matter too much.

I actually have more than one doll to help with the tree this year! I'm excited. Thanks Queedie! I love it, too. I can't wait to see it on her. I keep taking it down and playing with it. And I need to take the scrunchies out and re apply them once the wig is on a head. It's really hard to get her hair pulled back straight with only a wad of paper towel inside the wig. The hair is so fine I keep either missing a strand or two, or getting random loops popping up. Doesn't help that I made them to scale, so they're really small and only fold over once. Looks great, but pain in the butt to put in.
No, She's going to be the girl. The boy hasn't wanted to share the current body lately, so I guess he's laid permanent claim to it! According to tracking she won't be here until the 5th, so I have a short wait.
Congrats! I'm jealous. I'll probably still be waiting then. Maybe not, though. If HS gets its next shipment soon then I could possibly have her by then. I think the Lili sculpt lends itself better to a girl, anyway. But then, I always thought of Dan as a definite boy and there's someone (I'm horrible at remembering SNs ) with a lovely girl Dan. So I guess it really is all in the face-up and there are ways of making any sculpt look more masculine or feminine.

I use Testors dull-cote and it works great for me. I just wish it came in more than 3oz cans. It goes soooo fast. I get like 2 face-ups out of a can. Although I also spray it obsessively every time I do ANYTHING I like, just to make sure if I mess up the next part I've got the good part sealed. There's probably like 10 coats on everything. I like it cuz it dries really fast.
My Lili should be here tomorrow! I decided to not go with the wig I had sitting around for her, and instead purchased a new one. She'll have black hair like her daddy. I wouldn't suppose that there's anyone here who wants to share a little spam of their girl?
I'm jealous! Still no word on my little girl. I swear she's already manufactured and hiding in some corner of the factory, refusing to be boxed up and laughing at my pain.

Most people have floating heads... I have a floating wig and pair of boots. All for a doll I don't have yet. She needs to stop fooling around and get her butt on a plane homeward.

I'm just nervous cuz the wig I have for her looks like it would fit my MSD and I want her home to make sure it fits her. I know I shouldn't worry. I saw a pic of the wig on a 26cm doll in the MP (or it was a 25 or 27cm, but not more than a cm off from Alicia) and it looked perfect. I'm just all nerves. The wig just won't stop looking big to me til I have her home and can put it on her.
