Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. I like your take on Noir, Gothland. He is very handsome. I can't wait to see another take at the faceup.

      I have 4 dolls right now that need work. 1 needs pants and a new wig and a name, 1 needs completely body blushing (darn Soom horse bodies) clothes and a name, 1 needs completely wiped and redone, 1 needs all of the above... and now there's my new Evan that needs... all of the above again. Sadly he's going to be the last one I work on at the moment. That doesn't stop me for trying to figure out stuff about him anyway...

    6. Gawain can kinda make his first appearance here now... I did the photos in black and white since the wig is teal >>;; It ought to be Brown-black for Gawain.'s palette, but I tried to make it work.

    8. So, after looking at Evan for the past few weeks and torturing myself, I did a terrible thing and decided to just take the leap and splurge for him. (I haven't even waited to get my first doll that I ordered back in Feb yet. This isn't going to end well for me... :|) But he's absolutely gorgeous!! Ordered him in normal skin with the standard faceup, but swapped out for the older body since I love the detail and definition that is has. I'll definitely be putting pics up as soon as he arrives in June-ish.

      Oh! I orderd him through MoC and they're still giving away free Noir event heads! Woo! I'm thrilled that I actually have a blank head to try my hand at faceups on. And he's so lovely.

    11. A practice head is an amazing thing. I have a 1/4 head floating around that needs to be scrubbed clean and worked on again. I've yet to do one myself and I've had the head for about 1 year now. My friend has played with it but not me. I ordered my Evan blank so I really need to start practicing.

    13. I haven't decided what color wig my Evan will have or his face up... He'll have green eyes, I've got that part at least. This is his lil' brother Kindle [link] and the only thing I have to work with. I was thinking a brown or a black wig, and probably not fur because I'm just not fond of it. For him Kindle it works though.

      Which reminds me I need to order MSC through JunkySpot so I have some for faceup work. The can I have is almost out and I don't think I need to use UV cut for practice.

    15. Gothland and silvermasques -> congrats for your faceups :D It's very interesting to see how Noir look with different owners ! I still have to do the faceup to my own boy... I think it's just the first step that is difficult but maybe I'll begin with Bailey first because I feel a bit less nervous with her.

      I have Luts normal skin and doll Leaves normal skin and Doll Leaves is more pink (and for white skin, Doll Leaves is more yellow while Luts is very white).
      I can try to take pictures if anybody is interested, just tell me ^^

    16. Oh comparison shots... I still need to do one of those of my Illusion Spirit group... XP I get to do another one when Evan comes because I ordered him with jointed hands. That was an expensive hike on the price too. $20 more for wheat jointed hands. Which with how cheap they were before compared to other hands made them about equal in the end... so it works out. I knew I would hate his joined fingers.

    20. He looks wonderful Gothland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's absolutely adorable :) I like his second faceup much better! I like the personality behind it. I especially LOVE his mouth.

      My Noir is here! He has been for a little while and he's so wonderful. I love him to bits. I haven't shown him though because he has no hair or clothes of his own. He's a fairly good poser and his hands are just lovely. I will post pictures when his wig comes in!
