@Shailara Ahhh, thank you!! And it is, with a couple of added bits! But he's actually getting wiped and re-done for the first time soon so I guess we will see how that goes. Vanya is way too cute and that pink definitely suits him!! * o *

Hello everyone !

I recently got my first BJD which is an MSD Doll Leaves Wish. I am very pleased with him, smooth resin, very sturdy, a decent poser and stands like a rock :} . I gave him a temporary face up for now, need more colors to work out something more decent and I am also looking to body blush him.

Thank you everyone for the kind comments I'm almost sad this wig isn't my own so I could keep it on him forever XP (except if maybe i buy it from my friend mmm...!!)

I'm a complete newbie on Den of Angels, but I'm so excited, I just got my second ever doll, a doll leaves Amara. She is named Siriol. The last picture is with her big sister Li Mei (Dika Doll Lola). I really appreciated this thread and getting to see some real photos before I took the leap and made a purchase!

Hi everyone, I know I posted here a while back, but I'm still waiting on my dolls Been really loving looking at everyone's boys and girls and getting so excited for my own cuties to come in!

However, I wanted to ask, does anyone here have experience ordering directly from the Doll Leaves website? I'm really wanting to jump on their sale that ends in a week (unfortunately none of their dealers are participating) and I emailed them last night with my order, and of course I'm on pins and needles waiting for them to respond!! I know they just returned from holiday so they might be a bit slow, but I'm super paranoid that I'll miss the sale. When I emailed them with a question a couple months ago they responded within a day so that was quite nice, and now I'm afraid it could be much longer.

I have been working on my Doll Leaves boy who finally has a name as well: Ayden. I body-blushed him (but removed it afterwards as it did not go so well xD ...) here is the body blushing attempt:



I also made a body-review in case people are not decided yet on whether to get a Doll Leaves MSD boy body (and I hope it helps) - I'll also post that in the product review section (let me know if videos should not be posted here in this thread?):



Since he has elf ears and that forest-elfy-kinda look about him I decided to make him a Link-style (from the video game series Zelda) outfit. I have never sewed anything, so this is my first attempt that leaves plenty of room for improvement . Most of it is hand-sewn (as I can't operate a sewing machine) - except the base of the dress, which a dear friend of mine sewed together. This is the current status:

I will add a belt (already ordered leather strings) and he'll also get a real metal sword (I bought one used and I hope I'll be able to clean it up properly, as it was a real bargain and is a bit rusty). The boots and the white pants are not made by me (also: the wig is from Dollzone) but store-bought. Once his dress is all set I'll also re-do his face up (for the third time now ).

Absolutely I will! Just curious, would you be able to tell me the size of your boy's wrist? I bought a pair of doll family jointed msd hands and I was wondering how big of a difference the fit will be.

 

Absolutely ! the Hand is attached to the wrist via an S-Hook. The circumference of the wrist is approximately 4.7cm. The diameter of the wrist is about 1.2cm-1.3cm - does that help? If you need additional info let me know :] !

@Psiiconic glad it helped !! Oh man I just realized you wrote "jointed MSD hands" xD !! Only ones I saw were from Doll Chateau, please let me know how those look on your boy, because I'd love to get mine a different set of hands! Did you take pink skin by any chance? I wonder how the resin match is :] !

 

They are Doll Family H in pink skin!! I bought mine recently and should have them soon. Even if the resin doesn't match (which I won't know until my boy arrives) I can get them blushed to match. You can find all the different jointed hands at Alice's Collections! DikaDoll, Doll Family, and Doll Legend all make msd hands.

Absolutely! It's a shame Doll Leaves only makes SD sized jointed hands, theirs are lovely.
