Doll Leaves Mini [45 cm] Discussion part 3

Oh hey! That lets me see the resin match! It looks a lot closer than I thought! My boy should arrive in late April or early May!

 

I could be wrong, but I think the Doll Leaves boys and girls use the same hands.
They look the same to me and the “special hands” they sell are not labeled for either gender body.

I hope I’m wrong, because while I like the Dikadoll hands, more choices are always a good thing.

 

Either way my boy has big hands anyway, it's part of his character. He needs to have articulated hands for photo reasons lol...now I just need him to ship.

 

Realized i haven't checked in here for ages. Here is a pic of my tan Kira. He is my only remaining msd as I really love the big guys but I just can't seem to part with him.

 

I have received my Jeremy just two days ago - so I haven't got any decent pictures yet (the poor guy has to wait till I get to my bestie in order to get his face up) but I love him. I agree on the fact that the hands are too big, but as of my guy doesn't really complain yet.

 

Lettitude Congrats on getting Jeremy! I can't wait to see pics of him with his face up!

I caved and decided to give him a face-up - friend still needs to a better job, but here's the freckled fairy prince!

@Lettitude: He looks great. "Freckled fairy prince" that has a nice ring to it.

 

I find freckles really hard. Always looks like someones just poked them repeatedly with a watercolour pencil, which is true.

 

Basically, you mix pastels with water and dip a rough brush into it. Almost dry it and then 'splatter' onto the doll!

 

@Lettitude Your Jeremy is so cute! I'm considering getting one myself when I get the chance. I'm currently waiting on an Ida and Kira.

Ohh she's so cute! and I've fallen in love with dolls with teeth, and her teeth are so lovely.

 

They are really well painted. Looking at them made me realise I'm a long way off that kind of detail in my face ups.
