Doll Leaves Mini [45 cm] Discussion part 3

LOL well you'll have to buy a tiny to wear that 6-7 wig now (and so it goes on!) I think Doll Leaves are quite petite anyway, and wigs vary just as shoes do - I've had SD size dolls wearing midi sized wigs and even yosd sized wigs, so don't stress over it - relax and PLAY

no idea about those boots you linked to, but they are probably very roomy, and don't look very 'steep' in the instep at all, so I reckon they'd be worth a try - you can always sell them if they're no good (or buy another doll to wear them LOL - and so it goes on!)

 

(So I dont forget!) I'll post my twins quickly so they're on the thread haha, they're finally getting a couple of things bought for them, shoes and socks so far! Unfortunately I bought Sawako's shoes in SD size by accident! so she's going to have to wait a little while, oops.

does anyone have pictures (besides the company's one) of doll leaves maya's (or kira's) default faceup? im trying to decide which one i want and i'd like to see how they look in photo's other than the company's.

 

my jeremy(yes his name is jeremy as well as his sculpt lol. though i may change it to TJ so my husband jeremy doesnt freak out on me lol) should be here tomorrow! im so excited to be getting him and joining in on the discussion! which brings me to ask where is the best place to find clothing for him? i see a lot of girls stuff on etsy and what not but hes a boy and im pretty sure hed like some manly things for xmas. (i dont have acess to the doa market place yet.)

Hey everyone! So over the holiday weekend I think I'm going to finally stop being a wuss and dye my Amara Right now she's on a tan Loongsoul body, and I've always intended to dye her head to match. I already went ahead and bought the dye yesterday and I've enlisted the help of my husband to make sure I don't back out. I'm crossing my fingers she turns out how I hope

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a difference with how they make there male and female heads? I kind of want to get a jeremy sculpt on their girl body, but I don't know for sure if that would be an issue? The Neck Circumference on both bodies is listed as 6.5 on Alice collections, so I'm assuming it would work, but I have never changed bodies from what the companies put the heads with before. xD

I'm using RIT DyeMore in SandStone, I admit this was directly influenced after seeing your darling DiM Ace being dyed with this color By your photos, this color looks like it will be a very good match for the Loongsoul tan, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to disguise in discrepancies with a good face-up/blushing. Crossing my fingers she turns out well!

 

My DL Vivian should be arriving in a few weeks! I snagged a tan one from the official eBay seller but there's something in confused about: the listing says the doll is wheaten, which is the DL light tan, but the pics show a suntanned Vivian, which was a limited event color. So I don't know which one I'm getting

ive seen other people do this so i think if yu just talk to the company theyed work with yu. but honestly, i dont think sizing would be a problem if yur keeping to the same size and company.

I leave you with one of my oldest dolls, she is a doll leaves flora in white skin, she has had many face ups in the past, lets say I learned a lot practicing on her

 

I got notification from Alice's collections that my DollLeaves body is on its way. I am so excited and very impressed, I only ordered the body on 24 October, just over a month is seriously fast work.

 

Just a question I am hoping someone can answer. My DollLeaves body just arrived and it is amazing but it doesn't have a COA, no papers or anything, is this normal? I have brought her new from Alice's collections so she is straight from the maker. Do they only send papers with a whole doll?

 

I got a COA with my girls but they are full, I imagine maybe cuz its a body and not a "sculpt"? Like the COA is for a sculpt or something
