Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023.     1. Kaylyn is so cute:) Is he yellow or pink skin?

      I find the beauty in less popular, strange and odd looking dolls. Not that Arefa is that odd. But he do have a unique look.
      I like to make an odd doll into a beautiful swan:) That is one of the fun parts of the hobby I think.

      He's yellow skin. In the right lighting it looks amazing, but sometimes I get depressed and wonder why I chose YELLOW of all colours. xD And then I order my next doll in yellow too... whut... (different company though)

    3. He does not look to bad on the pictures though :)

      I pretty much like both yellow and pink skin. But some times some companies yellow is a bit to yellow. I remember when I ordered my DZ Moon in yellow skin, I did not quite know what I felt about my dragons color. It was so yellow with a bit of orange. I prefer when skin color look more natural.

    4. Evol is in the building! As in, I got her.
      Pro: She came with the large bust as I requested, and she can still fit into her fullset outfit (barely) with it
      Con: She also came with the 'across the entire face from ear to ear' brilliant pink blushing. When I looked at the promo pics that came with her, though, I noticed she was blushed across the nose in those pictures too- it just wasn't quite as heavy as what I got.

      At least her face up is the right *colors*, which is mostly what I wanted. Doll-Love sometimes randomly decides to change colors on official face-ups. And the line work is gorgeous on her eyebrows, lips, and lashes.

      Her fullset outfit is also of much better quality than past Doll-Love fullsets I've gotten for my Yos.

      Will get pics when I am home, right now she's chilling in a box at work, un-nerving my coworkers.

    7. I don't' know much yet, as I'm still fairly new; isn't tan skin harder to maintain, because it urns green as it "yellows" and shows buffs and scratches more? Does this hold true differently for different companies? I only have a dollzone just yet, so I'm looking forward to seeing any differences between companies.

    8. I believe dolls going green or not is very different from companies to companies. Best thing to do if you want a tan doll from any company, is to ask around. Ask on the threads or PM people who have tan dolls from same company as you might be considering buying from.

      I know nothing about tan dolls turning green. I only have my tan dolls from Resinsoul and have not experienced any greening yet.

      But as I have been interested in getting a tan doll from Dolllove for a little while now, I PMed someone here who have a tan doll to get some more information about the tan.

      The doll`s owner had been messing a little bit with the doll`s face-up. It lead to a little bit of discoloring. How ever it was not that bad, and was not that big of a deal. And other than that there was no problems. And for a doll this cheap, there is not much to complain about the tan I guess. But people is different. Some maybe need they`re dolls to be flawless.


      Just thought I should share, as it have been talk about the tan here the days that have been. I must say I do feel a bit safer about getting a tan doll from Dolllove now. But I still think though My Arefa will be in normal or white skin. The tan have to wait.

    9. My two older Doll Love tinies haven't greened yet, and they're at least two years old and have been running around at conventions and out in the sunlight. (well, not literally running... but you get it.)

      My thoughts on her: The location of the joint on her torso makes her a bit harder to pose than I'm used to. I also think I'm going to KIPS or hot-glue suede her neck, as her head keeps jerking to the side when I move her legs. She would probably stand better in boots than shoes, her ankle joints seem a bit slick.

      Otherwise, she's a very nice doll, and for the price I can't really call those complaints.

    10. :o She's so pretty! And her dress looks gorgeous, and so well made! I want to sew my own clothes, but I so admire how professional and tidy fullset clothes look.

      I have one character I've been considering dollifying in the future, who would look lovely in tan. It's just hard trying to find one that doesn't look orange, and keeps well. I can now add DL to my list of reviews, thanks :3

    13. My Lincy arrived last night and I was finally able to open her this morning :) I'm really happy the body doesnt look as bad as the main photos make it out to be. here's a small photo of her :)

      I should take an order break for a while now I guess. A lot of money got spent before christmas. But before my break I want to do my most important order right now. A normal skin RS Li, that will be replacing my red kin Li. It probably will be Arefa`s turn right after that and my order break. But can`t wait to get him :)

      Just wanted to share that I finally ordered my Arefa. I went for white skin like planned. Ordered him from Wind Dolls with some extra stuff. So I got no idea how long the wait is. But hopefully not to long:)
